Kogra Windwatcher

Lightning never strikes the same spot twice

Objective:
Gosh’kar Windwatcher continues to put out bounties on materials she requires. For an upcoming ritual, Gosh’kar windwatcher requires the undamaged Arcanicus Glands from one of the storm wyrms that roam near the ruins of Taurajo in the southern part of the barrens.

Signed, Kogra Windwatcher
Scribed by Mozrogg Doomhowl

Rewards:
2 Fangs per orc.

Additional notes:
OOC: Since Kogra is unable to join on this journey herself, you can either make something up and go or prod me whenever I am online and I would be able to DM this expedition for you.

IC: An additional note has been placed right beneath this one: “it is said that the scales of these beasts have the property to resist the element of lightning.”

Status:

"Never leave an enemy to die alone in the cold. Warriors should die with hot blood on their hands, not with ice in their veins"

Rakmal

*A note is pinned to the notice, signed by Rak'mal Ironskull.*

"If I can keep some scales for roof tiles, I'm in!"
Rak'mal Ironskull/Drokum Cod
Skull with the hardiness of the mountain; limbs with the nimbleness of the sea.

Mozrogg

Report

Present:

  • Mozrogg Doomhowl
  • Makaroth Bloodaxe
  • Vanara Ashveil

Additional notes:
The orcs travelled south past the great chasm to track down a thunder lizard, it didn't prove too hard to find, however axe alone would not penetrate the beasts hide. The orcs instead scavenged various supplies to create a makeshift trap involving, vines, thorns and logs. It was a success! Vanara lured the beast over atop her raptor and it crashed into the snare, impaling it's hide and immobilizing it, however it was enraged shooting off bolts of lightning and the like before Makaroth managed to climb atop it's back and deal the killing blow. The orcs managed to salvage the intact gland as well as a few scales for good measure.
