Okram

''You shouldn't deny your potency. You shouldn't ignore your gift.'' All too familiar sentences Okram had been hearing for a while now. But he was unsure wether or not he should be happy with this gift.

Most of his visions and dreams had been bad omens. Just this evening he had dreamt something terrible. He could see Sakinra lieing in the sand, dieing to her wounds. When he rushed to the inn he was relieved to find her still alive. But couldn't the feeling of helplessness. That he should have been there.

Okram runs a hand trough his hair and sighs, he knows better then to think like that. There was nothing he could have done, he wasn't there. Simple as that. But his mind was running rampant. He hanged his head a bit and a cold shiver ran down his spine.

Fear. That was what he was feeling. Fear to get another vision he couldn't do anything about. ''Perhaps you need to learn first that you can't change anything, before you get shown something that you can change.'' An orc named Lomrak told him that. He himself wasn't sure about it but Okram did think it made some sort of sense. But he just couldn't shake the feeling. He had dreamed about losing his first love, about the world splitting open in the cataclysm, and now his closest friend almost dieing to her wounds.

''Ancestors, I plead towards you. Why am I showed these visions? Have I done something wrong? Why am I tortured with glimpses of unchangeable future...'' He awaited an anwser but the spirits were quiet. He sighed and slumped down on the docks. ''I see... I will have to figure it out on own..''

After a short while he got up and made his way to a small tent where he'd been sleeping. He considered turning in but decided to grab his gear and head towards the inn. Hoping that this night his dreams would be spared the glimpses of what may come.
