I'm hoping we can dedicate this thread to perhaps some mature level discussion of video games and the industry, other than "PS3 rox, Wii sucks" comments. Video gaming is now big business and since we're all gamers here (and adults), I think it can't hurt for us to understand how the industry works and more importantly how we as gamers can make money from it.
To start everything, I recommend you all read this article, it will offer many of you a whole other perspective and explain why Nintendo Wii is such a great success. Yes, yes, I can hear the groaning of some of you already thinking I'm a Wii fan boy, but if you still think the Wii is a gimmick after 4 years of massive sales (and still outselling the other consoles by a large margin) you're deluding yourself of the true reason for it's success and worse not seeing things from a business perspective. There is no hardcore or casual gamers, it's just an excuse made up by companies to explain why their games failed to sell.

This sort of  discussion thread was tried many many years back and it was commented on that this is a WOW site for Orc a dedicated site for the Blades.
And that maybe some thing like this may distract from what little interaction there is from tribe members.
(Apart from the normal posters that is).
There are a lot of dedicated Video Game discussion sites out there but only one Red blade site.

Just my two penny's worth.

Hence why I'm posting this in the off topic section, but I see your point.
