Red Blade Records / Arkail Blastblade
« on: April 24, 2015, 11:04:38 PM »

Name: Arkail Blastblade
Alias: Ark, Scribe
Rank reached: Gul'thauk

Age: Early 30's
Gender: Male
Race: Orc
Clan: Unknown
Class:Scribe
Alignment: True neutral

Family: None, unknown
Known Friends: Fewer
Known Enemies: Few

Appearance:
A scrawny Orc in his early 30's of average height. His face is a palid hue of green. Wearing the finest of robes or suits of mageweave silk, wolf fur and light leathers.
Upper right side of his face has heavy surgical scarring from cheek to forehead encircling his right eye and his face is paralysed down that side, but he has regained function in the right side of his mouth so he can speak clearly.
Normally carrying a simple steel rapier that tends to glow faintly. A practise he picked up after he chaneled Arcane magic though a blade to defeat a Bull Kodo for his Om'riggor. Earning him the name Blastblade.

A white wolf mask hangs from his belt. A kodo skin satchel on his shoulder filled to brim with books and inks and quills.  A decent sized pouch on his belt which seems to be medical supplies

Speaks with a hint of lordaeron accent as if he has spent many years around it..

Is quiet to a fault, observing and listening.
Reads a lot and is normally writing or drawing his experiences with the tribe.

Personality:
Is one to watch and wait and take note. He speaks his mind when he needs to. but Will gladly correct or challenge an opinion. Not really a people person he prefers his books and learning. Can speak a vast amount of languages yet is terrible at small talk or leadership. Quite possibly insane.

History:
 A scribe, historian & linguist

*Quick version*

After the fall of the Interment camps he wandered aimlessly searching for purpose as it did not lay upon the battlefield. While visiting Undercity he re-discovered his love of history he had as a cub in the libraries of Undercity. It was there he discovered he had a knack for languages and spent near a decade there learning the history of the peoples of Azeroth, its flora & fauna with a amateur interest in the arcane for self defense purposes...naturally

While researching Orcish tribes, he decided on a whim to get first hand information on the Orcish tribe The Red Blades. After meeting & talking with them he decided to join, eventually reaching the rank of Gul'thauk His loyalty to the blades is unquestioned just don't ask him to train newbloods. Spent the last few months training in Dalaran, recently fled the city. Mind is not what it once was his self imposed exile has damaged him more than he knows. Self imposed wards on his mind keeps it together

Things you may know about this character:
Thirst for knowledge, history & lore is limitless. Even if other orcs see it as useless. Reads/Writes/sketches a lot... likes to listen to tales & grand stories. An advocate for all knowledge being open and free to study. Regardless of peoples pre-conceived perception of it. The only thing that is dangerous is that which is unknown or misunderstood

Things you may not know about this character:
Misses Undercity and world in general greatly. Has been advancing his magical training in Dalaran, but has recently fled the city. Has been tortured and experimented on various times while living in Undercity, sometimes unwillingly sometimes because he thought it might teach him something other times he doesnt remember.

Self view
Arkail feels he has changed a lot since joining the Red blades. Having been removed from the worlds troubles for so long. He realizes now how little he really knew. His experiences in the rebellion, a trial by fire in what the world is about and what matters. What started as a brief stay with the Red Blades for his own gain turned into a undying resolve to the tribe and its well being

He recognizes his many failings when it comes to the battlefield and is first to admit them, not that it stops him from entering a fray when called upon. Always throwing himself into the frontline. Though he remains reserved and quiet. He feels now more "whole" and certain of himself and what he wants to be.

He is aware he rarely thinks bad of other tribe members, but has little interest in gaining friendship or a mate.  He feels with his advancement to Gul'thauk this is probably best kept this way. He sees the current vast amount of relationships withing the tribe troubling. He sees many breaking their oath over it and it disheartens him greatly.

The oath come first in all things for Arkail. Detached in many ways, but fiercely loyal to his very core. The advancement to Gul'thauk has only solidified his will and devotion to the tribe.

His views on a few others:

Kozgugore Feraleye:
Spoiler: show

Hasnt had many interactions with the chieftain, He finds him worthy of respect so far  though is unsure what the future holds for it. He is cautiously optimistic of the tribes future under his leadership.

Therak Duskstalker:
Spoiler: show

He sees Therak as a mentor, he finds his cunning and cleverness admirable  If he needs advise or a contact he will seek him out as the first port of call, though lately he seen the effect his role has had on him and how distant he has become a possible liability

Sadok Sharptongue:
Spoiler: show

He likes Sadok somewhat, His inventiveness and confidence. No matter how grim the situation may be.

Vanara Ashveil:
Spoiler: show

He finds Vanara's detachment at times relatable and understandable, but doesnt pry into her personal life and will talk freely with her about most things of non personal nature work, tribe etc.

Krogon Devilstep:
Spoiler: show

He saw in Krogon the history of the Orcish people. He was always concerned for the Orcs mood and actions at times, but also understood why was the way he was. He loved discussing ethics or the past with him. He does miss the old orc since his death

Rhonya Steelheart:
Spoiler: show

He sees Steelheart as worthy of respect, but knows all in the tribe do. Never really talked to her much outiside of his duties. He knows that no matter the situation she tends to try and puts others needs before the needs of herself

Gridish Rimeweaver:
Spoiler: show

He is comfortable speaking his mind freely with him about whether it be the task at hand, spellcraft or history.

Redskull:
Spoiler: show

He is confused by this orc at times, but will chat about most things with her and enjoy her jokes and stories even if he thinks she could be a liability in the future

Trakmar Beastbane:
Spoiler: show

Though they have little in common and rarely always agree on many matters. What started as sympathy for the old orc turned into sort of trust. Even if deep down he knows it probably wont end well

Kogra Windwatcher:
Spoiler: show

He worries frequently for this orc she pushes her limits too much and become a liability as her health suffers. Knows she is more than able of taking care of herself.

Siyahgosh:
Spoiler: show

He is very fond of this Orc. Would gladly talk at length with him about anything just to see his view on things. His 'familars' also interest him greatly.

Kyrazha Throatender:
Spoiler: show

Enjoys this orcs free spirit and honestly. Though does really want to give here proper elocution lessons at times

Srelok Grimtide:
Spoiler: show

Doesnt really know much about this orc on a personal level but respects him, his devotion to the tribe is admirable as is his seemingly is putting his tribe duties first a rare trait

Makaroth Bloodaxe
Spoiler: show

Finds this orcs transition from fel magic to steel baffling, does respect his will to resist and change what he can only imagine fel withdrawal is like and doesnt think it will last he will only endanger the tribe
