Though our departure was planned beforehand, and Kozzie knew about it, I can safely say that none of us expected it to be this unfriendly from an IC point of view. Still, it turned out that way, but that does ofcourse not mean there has to be any unfriendliness OOC'ly between us. So, for those interested in keeping in touch, in good friendship, we have a small website, which can be found here. Feel free to drop by and post something!

Don't worry, we have no intent of becoming a rival guild. We are just a few friends that have setup their own little guild.

Thanks for all the fish, and all the best to everybody!

Anyway, enjoy!  8)

Well, as Lanii her-/hiself has said on these forums earlier

I might have made her too rebelious for the "Normal guilds" like this..

You stayed true to RP'ing your character, and I guess that this time around the IC reaction was to kick you. Though it always sucks to have people "removed" from the guild, as long as it is all done IC'ly, it should be possible, without any accusations being thrown around.

Just out of curiousity, where did you go? On a wild guess I would say the Sixty, since that guild would fit you, and frankly, there are not many other RP guilds to go around these days. Anyway, all the best to you Lanii, and I hope you enjoy your new guild!

Game Related / Re: RPing classes
« on: July 04, 2008, 10:11:26 AM »
Keep in mind that there are two aspects in this matter, there is the RP and the game mechanics. As far as RP goes, you can think it's really cool to be a Shaman, and be busy with spiritual side of Orcs. But for game mechanics, you might think that the Shaman class sucks, and really dislike PvE'ing or PvP'ing with that class.

Yes ofcourse it's a little bit out there, but you shouldn't have your RP dictated by some label that game mechanics assign you. The best example I can give is our former leader Akesha. Her class was a hunter, but she always said, that as far as RP went, she saw herself as a lightly armored warrior.

Game Related / First bounty on an Orc -- Tirnak
« on: July 02, 2008, 07:32:27 AM »
Those of you that read the realm forums, know there is a bounty hunter topic, where you can offer money to have somebody killed. Now for the first time (as far as I know), a bounty has been placed on the head of a Red Blade. Apparantly Lanii, is willing to pay 30g to have Tirnak killed.

I lol'ed! ;D

But I think Drakash deserves a bounty on his head too then!

Hmm, a lot of people don't seem to stick around in AoC very long. Anyway, decided by now, after having read and seen alot about it, not to spend my money on the game, just doesn't seem worth the money. But yesterday I pre-orderd WotLK and I bought the Warhammer pre-order kit, which garantuees a spot in the open BETA. Combine that with Call of Duty 4, and my online gaming is assured for the coming few months at least.
