Name: Arionak
Level: 120
Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
I've played (and RPed!) in WoW on Argent Dawn since around 2010, though entirely on Alliance side in various guilds and mostly human RP. This is the first time I'm really trying Orc RP, though after reading up on most of their lore and the general themes around Orc & Horde RP it looks like a lot of fun and I'm definitely excited to try it out!
I took a slight break from RP around the start of this year up until now, with my main being on another realm for raiding now, but with the way the story is going I always felt like I missed out with not being on Horde side for the Garrosh / Vol'jin RP, so it looks like it's going to be an exciting time to start RPing Horde.
And finally, please write a short story and/or (IC) introduction about your character:
Just a child when his people took flight from the Eastern Kingdoms and sailed to Kalimdor, Arionak's father perished in the camps and he was raised by his mother as they found their way in their new desert home. Amongst the remanants of the Shattered Hand he learned to relish and make use of their underhanded way to wage war, spending time in the company of scouts and trackers and studying their own ways.
Arionak grew into a fiery and able-bodied servant of the Horde, earning the name 'Vilefang' as he moved into adulthood and begun to aid his people on whatever frontline he could get to. Like many of his kind, the young orc was at home on the battlefield -- though he chose a different path to many warriors, often skulking the shadows and striking only when the opportunity was there.
After the disappearance of his mother and remaining siblings, Arionak returned to serving what was left of the Shattered Hand in their work both within and outside of Orgrimmar. He continued to study and learn whatever he could from the more experienced rogues in the Cleft.
With the outbreak of war and the loyalty of the Horde slowly tearing in two, Arionak has chosen to strike out again and find a new way to serve his people and improve his skills ...
