Applications / Re: Application: Skarru [Reworked]

Reworked my story, because I really wanted to play a younger Orc. This should be more informative/accurate.
And I like it better, personally.

I spoke with Rhonya ingame and she did suggest that for a new character I would make a new application. No harm done.
Skarru is definetly from the main timeline. But I think I might have messed up the age of my Character. During the slaughter of the whiteclaw clan which was presumably during or after the events of the rise of the horde. At this point Skarru is at an age where he still is not fully aware of what is going on. So he is young. Could you tell me how long its been since the rise of the horde?

I will further flesh him out as you request.

Hey guys, It's Ghram. For those who might have seen me sometimes on Defias. I wasn't very active on Ghram on Defias due to my mains being Alliance there. Since this is a new realm, I don't see why I can't focus on playing horde now. Seeing that the time that I did spend with OotRB was incredible! I would like to re-apply with a different/new character. So without further ado:

Name: Skarru Emberslash
Class: Hunter
Level: By the time you read this, 10+

Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
I actually started roleplaying on horde. At a time when I was playing alone (no RL friends). This must be over 5 years ago. I think it was TBC period. RP was really fun and I met some really awesome people. Later when my RL friends returned to WoW I switched back to my chars on alliance. I roleplayed a long time on Defias, this is where I met OotRB. in 2013 I had a character enter the guild as you read above. But it was hard to keep rping horde on a realm where i had mostly Alliance chars. So I start over with Horde on AD. Which leads me here.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
I was born in captivity in the cold dirt of Alterac outskirts. Raised in the exhausted but still loving arms of my mother. She carried me through dirt, through cold, through rain, across the storming seas and finally into the dry barren lands of Durotar. It was shortly after that, after we were safe, that she drew her last breath. A woman who’s survival clang purely on her iron will to keep me alive and safe. I will honor her memory until my dying breath. Even though I do not remember her face. The Frostwolf, Tarakk, who took care of me ever since taught me to be proud of where I come from. And so I am. At the age of 12 I was allowed to pick up a weapon by Tarakk. Even it was only for training purpose. Little did he know I made my choice 4 years prior and I could shoot an arrow quite decently. He was not angry, but laughed with pride.
Another year passed as Tarakk was send away to the barrens. I pleaded to be allowed to come with him, but he would not have it. He was going to fight nature itself in the form of raging elementals. I was not ready. I had to grow up faster than the other Orcs. I spend most of my time helping my kin rebuilding Orgrimmar into the fortress it is today. I was naïve, I did not know back then what our new Warchief was up to. Tarakk returned from his duty. He left an arm in the Barrens. And would often joke to me to go and get it. We spend a couple of months together just like the old days. Until day he came to me and said I would have to leave the city. “Bad things are happening” I still hear him say. He still talked to me as if I was a child. I noticed what was going on. Shady business. Thrall would have never allowed it.
I fled the city and spend a lot of time in the barren wilds. It was here where I befriended a young boar that I would later name ‘Strongsnout’. Whispers of the rebellion came to my attention as I wanted to help retake the city. I managed to find a rebel gathering and joined the attack on Razorhill. I was glad Tarakk wasn’t here for I knew he would not let me join the fight.
After our victory I feared my Frostwolf father did not live. He was an old wolf. 3 legged, but still walking. We met again at Orgrimmar. He told me what he had been up to and told me that it was time for me to start my own story. So here I am, no idea of what to do. I guess I can start by looking for the old wolf’s arm…

Not a requirement, but nevertheless an important part of your application, is that you know at least some part of the orcish lore in the Warcraft universe. You don't need to know everything, but make sure that what you write, fits in with the history of the world. For example, Orgrimmar has only existed for a few years, so being born there is impossible (unless your character is really young).
I have read lord of the clans. And my Horde / Orc lore is pretty up to date. And I also read Rise of the Horde.

Hey there!

Just off the top of my head. I don't think the Orcs have been on Kalimdor for more then 10 years. So that would make it unlikely for your character to be born in Durotar. I could be wrong though. Am I?

Short and straight forward. You've got my approval, however you need an officer's approval before you can get an interview.

Wasn't going for short. But just wanted to get my business on the table. Where did Ghram serve, what are his beliefs and what is he up to nowadays. But thanks!

Name: Ghram Ironjaw
Class: Warrior
Level: 85

It’s been rather hard for me to start RP-ing Horde again. I initially started as a Horde RP-er on Sporeggar. Then the guild disbanded and i started going back to Pvp realms. Playing on my mains ( this was my first character. I didnt like this anymore and i realised it is because it was a Human) I have a 90 on alliance side here aswell..as a casual rper and alts in other RP guilds like TTH, Disciples, forlorn cartel. Anyway RP-ing is my favorite way to experience the lore of this game.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
Ghram is of the Bleeding Hollow. He was but a child when ‘The rise of Horde’ took place. He grew to adulthood in an Internment camp from the Alliance. He was freed by Thrall’s new Horde as one of the few remaining Bleeding Hollow clan members on Azeroth. After that he followed Thrall during the Exodus of the Horde. He was taught how to fight, how to love and teached about Honor and respect. The feeling his new Warchief gave him was undescribeable. Since many years he felt proud to be Orc again. He felt strength running through him and since a while he picked up his axe again. Fighting his way through Azeroth, to finally arrive in Durotar.
After the founding of Orgrimmar, Ghram was assigned for patrolling duties in the Barrens. There he spend years fighting off different types of foes. Harpies, Centaur and other creatures. The occasionnal alliance conflict improved his skills as a Warrior during this time greatly.
Untill recently Ghram left his post as he heard from the acts of the new so-called Warchief. He decided to get shipped to Pandaria where he told he would do duties for the Horde. After some missions he went missing. He would return when the time is right to overthrow the Warchief. Untill then he will remain amongst the Pandaren and train himself for war once more.
