This is today!

But just to get a bit more picture of the situation for myself: Are you busy with something else or is it possible that some of you will be attending?

This is next thursday.

I'm aware of that both you and us in the Marauders are laying low for the time being, but we're going to show up somewhere, hold the tournament and then disappear again, so you could go for something of the same fashion if you want to take part. I do however of course understand it if you'd rather not come due to IC circumstances and play it safe.

I've decided to make this a recurring event that'll take place every second month on the thursday of the third week row (On the calendar). So the next time of this event will be next month (March) on the 14th.

Sorry man but it's nearly the ideal date if there's only one objection to it.

Early grats on your ding though!

Does Thursday the 17th fit in on your calendars, or does it crash with anything? If it's fine then that's likely going to be the set date.

I was planning to hold it soon after the christmas break's end, so most likely in 1-2 weeks.

Having an all shaman team is allowed yes, just don't have more than 1 resto shaman. Don't blame me if you get stomped down by enemy teams though!

Also, feel free to invite others (Be they larger groups or single individuals), the more the merrier! I would post it on defiasrp as well, but out of fear for griefers I've decided not to, and therefore it's hard to spread the word on my own.

IC scroll:
Throm-ka, Red Blades.

You're invited to take part in a three versus three tournament that's going to be held in an uncertain number of weeks. You will be notified when the time for this event is set, should you happen to accept the invitation.
It will be held in an arena and there will be summoners ready to bring you to the location in case you've none available yourself.

Sharpen your axes, tend to your armour and prepare for glorious combat!

Gor'Thrak Frosthowl, Oathsworn, Death Knight and Berserker of the Shatterskull Marauders

OOC:

Greetings!

In a few weeks I'll be holding a tournament where people will get to participate in groups of three. The exact time is however not set (Feel free to come with suggestions). We'll be using an outdoor arena so that people will be able to watch.

Rules:

-No tanking specs allowed
-Max 1 healer per team
-Regular arena rules apply (No Blood Lust (And the similar), no food buff/flasks/pots, etc.)
-You may only recieve buffs from yourself or other members of your team
-If you've any complaints then voice them after a fight is over, not during combat
-Teaming up with people from outside your guild is allowed
-You may change your spec and choice of talents between battles

Afterwards people can enjoy the privilege of being able to do rematches or test themselves up against others of their choice, but it won't be as part of the tournament itself. If the situation is right more stuff might happen, but I haven't thought of anything specific yet.

There might be prizes, but I haven't made up my mind. It's certain that there will be honorary titles given to the winners IC though.

Choose your partners wisely, work out tactics, practice and prepare!

Finding a fitting video showing how Gor'Thrak fights is near impossible as he uses the same spells as most Death Knights do, but also the fighting style of a berserker.

In the start of a fight or a duel he sometimes tests his foe first, not going all out yet unless it's in an open battlefield. He's not the most graceful of all, and instead harvests his rage, becoming more enraged and violent as the fight goes on. His strikes are quick (Although not as quick as if he'd use smaller blades) and powerful, and he's willing to go far to deliver a blow to the enemy, trusting that the saronite armor and undead state will keep him safe (He does of course parry, dodge, block and so on when possible). That might very well be a possible weakness for the enemy to exploit though. Offensive is something he likes being, once he gets into real combat he does his best to force his opponent into a defensive position so that he can let out his fury crush the enemy with powerful blows.
Unlike many Death Knights he hardly ever summons minions to fight for him, since he prefers relying on his own strength as he believes that to be more honorable. What he uses the most of his spells is simply empowering his runeblade with either Frost or Necrotic energies before striking the foe, causing magical shockwaves to tear said foe up or causing a potential knockback if their blades meet. He's specially fond of Frost and wind magic, sometimes twisting the air around him to fill it with razorsharp shards of ice that cut deep and frost to freeze, mainly to annoy and make it hard for his opponent to concentrate (Numbing limbs, needing to cover the face from ice, etc.) At times he turns this into a blast instead, typically aiming for the chest/stomache region of the enemy.

There are several other spells and such that he knows, but those are rarely used by him. They're mostly just typical Death Knight ones that you can find in the spellbook.

Ugh, does anyone have a link to Bob Dylan - The times they are a changin'? And by that I mean the real version, the internet is overflowing by those fucking covers by people pretending that they're the originals.
