Hello everyone. I couldn't find another thread for this sort of thing, so I decided to just make one myself. Sorry if there's always one up like this one.
I have to go away now indefinitely. I do not know if I will return, if ever, but something suddenly came up and now I am having a lot of troubles irl that I really need to sort out and focus on. I wish you all the best of luck in Cataclysm and beyond.

Since there really is no stickied thread for this. I'll steal Kulgars for now!
I'll be going away to celebrate christmas up north with relatives some 600km's away, fully netless, mostly phonereceptionless and out in the woods maybe snowed in.
I'll be leaving on wednesday (the 22nd) early morning, and will return... someday between christmas and new years.
And yes, I am writing this now incase I forget about it later. Wouldn't really surprise me.

Due to it being less than two months to me beginning Army Basic Training I've stepped up my exercise programs and doing that after work strains you, I'll try to be around for events but my wow time is going to be greadly reduced the next few months. Hopefully it'll lighten up once basic training is over and I begin guard duty sometime in august. I'll try to be on for the events I can ofc.

Having stared at the login screen for 15mins I stopped trying to muster the enthusiasm to login. As my subscription was due to renew in a few days I decided to cancel for now.

I'll be stationed at my old school for a week, starting this sunday. I guess I can come online once in a while to say hello, but I can't really attend anything, I'm afraid.

My subscription expires the 26th and I don't feel like extending it any longer. I'll refrain from a dramatic 'what a long strange trip it's been' post, since it's not really dramatic to move on. I am quite frankly a bit bored with the game -- a clear indication its time to start looking for a new hobby.
So, I'm sure I'll see you guys in-game until then, and I also want to say thanks for the role-play and chat the past years! I can't say this is a definite farewell though, since WoW is as addicting as a shot of heroin, but I'll at least do my best to delay my return! ;D

As you might have notice I have not been really very active of late
I was suppose to have a new graphi card by now, but apprently I got a message saying "sorry bro, it's delayed"
I can only play on lowest graphi options and it's lag some, so I be practicly only coming on a few meetings

As you may have noticed, I have been pretty inactive as of the late. I am currently busy with preparing a big LARP, which also will cause me to be away from monday till sunday next week. I'll be gone from tomorrow and until saturday/sunday next week. since i am going to Berlin with my school. so have pity on me tomorrow around 8:00 and until 16:00 because i am going to be stuck in a bus for 8 hours straight, with my own class and another, that is around 6 students plus teachers. In otherwords, it is a highway to hell :(

I won't really "go away", but i will (and have been lately) alot less active for some time, not sure how long this will last, or if i will ever start playing more again. Time will tell, i guess. Doh, as you maybe noticed, i was inactive for quite long time now. Terribly bored with WoW, dunno if i gonna come back for new arena season or not.
New expansion looks incredibly idiotic for me. Pandas and pokemons, first i tho that i drunk too much alcoghol. After secont read, i realised that they are being serious... This shit becoming too cartoony and non-serious for me. Think I'll go and try others MMOs about to come out, i have some hope for Guild Wars 2 and SWTOR.

did surf and replay throu the phone thou, so it must have been some kind of bug/glitch perhapse?
oh well, up to date with the kid, she's growing stronger everyday, all going perfectly fine and towards the right way, she's still in incubator, and will be for maybe 2 weeks more atleast, maybe more, a very little child, but still strong =)
so i whon't return online for some weeks if i don't get better signal on the net on my gaming laptop, i'll might pop in sometimes on short rp'ing between baby feeding etc.
other than that i'll be back asap when me and the baby are released from hospital

I was an incubator baby, even though I was born on time :) quick warning....if your baby reads lots of fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings at a young age..well they will probably end up with an over-active imagination. I know I did. xD Playing chess as well when they're young, letting them win some, but still winning some games yourself. Helps get that whole, "Let me win!" stage out of the way and can get their analytical part of their mind working as well, trying to guess their opponents next move, planning your own....and now it seems I've made a post telling u how to raise ur kid .... /facedesk

Tonight we get transfered to a more private room with the baby, no more Wall between us and no incubator, she'll be living in the same room and in a waterheat-bed, so hopefully we'll get to move home to our own home and normal life, if she keeps gaining streangth in this incredible pace. So in two weeks hopefully i'll be back

Firstly, my apologies for disappearing without notice. The past months have been hectic. What started with some time off to finish writing two reports and doing a short internship, gradually evolved into a quick peek at SWTOR to a move to another city. At any rate, thinking of coming back to the game. Anybody interested in a spectral mount? I wouldn't mind a boost to level 80 either. ;)

Anyway since i couldn`t find another topic about this i posted in this one:). So i am not going away, but i won`t be able to play much, idk if you noticed but i am rarely online, that is because i am busy as hell in the last few months. So i joined a game development team as a level designer, and it takes a lot of time, i also have school, and have to study 3d modeling, on top of that i am making videos/special effects, and machinima which takes a lot of time too, so i am not left with a lot of time to actually play the game. I will be on depending from time to time, sometimes more sometimes less, i feel really bad for missing all the rp and all the fun, but time is limited. I hope i will get some free time anytime soon.
PS: Btw i am making a new machinima, so if someone has a good voice and thinks he can do a few voices that would be great, it is not really needed, but since we are a guild i would love to give you the oppertunity, since myndflame, jesse cox and ayvenne is going to be in it too. Anyway good luck and tell me if you are interessted. :)

As my subscription ends the 22nd i've chosen to cancel it. This being that my old pc no longer can handle the game, to a satisfacting level. In two weeks time i should have gathered all the components / money for the components, to build one hell of a machine.

I just wanted to let you know that the WoW account with Ootah on it has been temporarely disabled. Since it takes approximately 21 days for a GM to reply to a ticket I have no idea how long it will take for them to re-activate it.

Issue resolved, made a quick call to Blizzard and explained them the situation.
They re-opened my account for 2 hours giving me time to transfer Ootah away before they close it again :)

I already cancelled my MoP pre-order, so don't expect me to be back early MoP at least. :P (unless I suddenly lose an interest in all the other games I have >.>)

From the 27th of September through to the first week or so of October, I'll be away (or at the very least considerably less active) due to university travel/settling in. Puts me a little behind the MoP leveling curve, but I can think of worse things.

Those of you who actually know me might've noticed I'm gone -again-, this time I thought I'd mention a few things about it since this time I actually have some idea of my AFK status.
I'm likely to come back to the game sometime during the first half (-maybe- quarter) of the next year. But it'll be a "testing the waters" sort of thing. I've been bored with the game for a long time now. I've only been coming back because I remember how awesome this guild is but the game itself just doesn't hold my interest for any reasonable length of time and I end up slowly giving away my gaming time to my bajillion hobbies and other stuff until I stop playing. Next time I play, I'll do everything I can think of to try and spark my interest in the game again, hopefully it'll work.
It's still all very sketchy since I'll also be moving out which will fuck with my free time even more but we'll see. Hopefully your bannermaster will be able to uphold his duty for a much longer period soon enough. I know my absence doesn't count for much but I thought I owe an explanation for this and all of my previous MIA statuses.

I'm just dropping in here to say that I'm still alive, I merely fall off the face of Azeroth and got sucked into the inescapable gravitational pull of a black hole.
The black hole being my bank account and spare time. :(
Thing is, I spent most of my grant during freshers week and I've been strapped for time and money since.
Anyway, I may become active once again sometime in December or January as I'm getting the urge to some crack panda skulls. :)

Well, as i merrily took the airplane to the netherlands to my sisters flat, everything went well, untill......I checked my email this morning. Well, seems somebody, somewhere on our beautiful planet got a bit too bored of life and decided to bust into my email, wow account, and GOD knows what else, instead. And because the world hates me and decided that NOW was the PERFECT moment to give me instant dementia, i remember no passwords to my other email, or even the safety questions. Which leaves me helpless to just accept the possibility that i might not ever be able to play on this wow account, so it might be that i will join ORB on some other character, but, i guess that will be left to see.

Okay, so my computer decided to commit suicide a few weeks ago, and while it was fixing i was helplessly left without any kind of computer (pity me!) But while i didn't have it, i realized that i now slept much better, was in a better mood and school also went a bit easier and since wow took up most of my time i realized that was probably the case :/ So i will take quite a long break from now on, being on the ninth grade and all i also want to get better grades and such for high school next year so D:
But, a big but (pun very much intended).....I'll miss you, dammit! xD I really love the community, and i might still be active on forums and stuff like that, because i dont want to completely sever all wow contacts :D

Hey guys. I am aware that I have been away for far longer than I had first intended, and for that I am sorry... so I thought I'd just give you a heads up as to what's going on. First there was christmas and then school started back up. I have a mini-tour of auditions to get into opera school comming up this spring, so I am very busy preparing for that right now. But the biggest thing that is keeping me away right now is the fact that this past saturday one of my classmates committed suicide, so I am wrestling with the grief of that tragedy right now on top of everything else. I will be back eventually, but I can't set a definite date right now. I'm sorry.

As some might have known I have been away for about a month. I want to apologise for that as I did not have the time to actually play thanks to college projects and a general disinterest in WoW at the time.
Now, however, I'll have to bid you all farewell. As the guild moves to Argent Dawn, I shall not. Yesterday evening was my last time rp for a while. The time I spent with you lot was great and I've met a lot of awesome people along the road.

I was going to make a more offical break with an event or something, until I noticed something.

Just a heads up for the next 3 weeks for myself. Not necessarily 'Going away' per-se!
Work has a major opportunity next week for some serious overtime/cash to be made. Long story short on the Golf Course we have 3 separate 'Courses' of 9 holes. And once a year we close each course for a week to do summer renovations. Basically, im spending 12 hours a day shoveling dirt. As a result, i'll be starting work at 5.30am, and probably not finishing until 6.30/7pm in the evening! It's also a fourty minute drive home from work everyday so I might not even be online until 8pm, if at all.
It'l all be played by ear mainly, as I'll need to be in bed at 9.30pm each night. I might finish a little earlier some days, I may not. Either way my activity may be somewhat low during the week! Weekends should be as normal providing i can actually stay awake during the day o.o
So to wrap up. Mon-Fri for the next 3 weeks i'll be earning some serious cash at work, and may not be online as early as I usually am if not at all. Will all depend on whether I'm alive/what time I finish. Weekends should have somewhat normal activity! \o/

I wont be able to take part in the RP events for some time (I do not know how much time) since at work a new project is starting. The time of the events is the main problem since in Romania 20:30 server time is 21:30, and around that hour I kinda need to go to sleep so I can get at least 6 hours of sleep :(. It seems the university wifi here blocks both Steam and Battle.net from going online. So I won't be able to play WoW at all during Sunday-Thursday. If they built proper fiber it wouldn't be an issue! If it's limited to a campus it should be even cheaper. Lund uni covers ~1/5th of the city and that's not counting housing for some ~+20k students. If you live in student facilities you have fiber. (The only thing I regret with not doing so myself. But owning a place has benefits).

So, I started a Dwarf guild on ArgentDawn (since it's the only way I can get my friends to play on AD, because they only like Alliance side), and it's already taking shape, so I wont be very active on my orc. Hope I will have the necessary number to go on an adventure (12 dwarfs, 1 human mage and 1 gnome rogue should be enough to go kill a dragon in the mountains). Also, hope to meet the tribe with my Dwarf, should be a fun experience.

After recent events IRL; I'll be away from the game for an indefinite amount of time. Something happened thats forced me to reconsider what I need to change and where my priorities in life lie at the moment. RP at the moment isn't one of them and I get myself far too involved in RP at the moment that it's having a knock-on negative effect on my life. You'll see me online for those who have me on Btag but i'll be doing other things to pass the time that don't require me to delve too much of my life into.
For clarification as this may seem odd with my recent burst of activity; My car broke down yesterday. It's costing me £700 to repair in total which is a fucking disgusting amount. I've had to scrape together as much money as I can to pay this off but its left me utterly broke and frankly i'm already in a hefty amount of debt I was starting to clear out.
How does this relate to RP though? I have to wake up at 5am. Which means I should be in bed anytime between 9-10pm. The issue is im not sticking to it because im worrying about RP, the guild, storylines, even when people just want to talk to Maka I stay on because I want to RP. But its having a negative effect now my inability to say no to RP; I'm waking up later in the mornings and missing breakfast or sometimes dont have enough time to make lunch for work because I overslept. That means I then buy food which is more money spent and then I also smoke more (Something im now trying to give up, which isn't something I can do when im stressing about RP and the like.) Its a knock on effect really and I have to sort my money problems out.
I could have just said I had personal problems but I felt an explanation was deserved as to why im suddenly not going to be RPing for the foreseeable future.

Soo.. as you lot might have noticed, I've been away since mid November or so. Real-life stuff went down and I started working at a part-time job next to following courses at uni, learning and whatnot. So around christmas, I finally was glad to get back to my trusty old PC again, but I was somehow able to demolish it :(
So, for the past 1,5 month I've been trying to save up for a new PC and let's just say, bills aren't cheap either.
All things considered, I've been able to buy a (old) new one and I'm planning on getting back into the action a.s.a.p. ;D
Might take another week or two though.. So there's that.
PS! Yeah, I've already demanded a cut regarding the roster so I'll have a wee bit more spare time, but first see then believe :')

So I will be gone for a little time, a week or so from today, since something went wrong when i upgraded my pc with new motherboard, ram and processor, so now it won't start. The computer guys says it will be done, sometime within this week. and if that wasn't enough, I have also become sick, with a fever of about 38.3, a throat that hurts like hell with coughing that doesn't exactly make it better, and a stopped nose. So don't go burn the tribe down while I am gone. :P

Hey guys. Some of you may have noticed that my activity has been pretty much nonexistant for a while. For that I am sorry. I would love to have time to dedicate to WoW and the guild, but that's not what my reality looks like. I recently came to the realization that I need to rearrange my life if I want to become a true artist and that means that WoW has to go. WoW is a huge time sink for me at the moment and since I barely have enough time to eat decent meals in a day and choosing to prioritize WoW over my own health doesn't cut it. I've been wrestling with this for a while and especially the guilt I feel when I can't be online or take part in plots and things. And feeling guilty about it doesn't exactly make me want to log in either. So now I've decided that I will be taking a break from WoW for an indefinite amount of time. I need to let the guilt go. I will still be around on skype and facebook and I'd love to stay in contact with you all, but I will not come online to play until the summer holidays at the earliest. So sorry guys.

Double post yay! Me and ed will be away this weekend for a LARP weekend which came kinda unexpected (happens when the GM suddenly pokes you a few days before the larp that he still owes you something and you can come without any additional costs and he even arranges the drive there for you). So we'll be gone from friday eve till sunday eve, depends on how tired we are if we come online on sunday.

As some may have noticed (or not, he's not that great) I haven't been RPing Ul'guruk much, and certainly not much around the tribe. The reasons for this are numerous, but the two largest reasons are probably that Ul'guruk simply doesn't feel comfortable or at home in the tribe and Horde RP just plain bores me right now.
I'm going to focus on roleplaying other things for now, and while I might occasionally log on to Ul'guruk it will most likely be for a specific reason such as RPing with friends.
IC Ul'guruk is hiding himself in his hovel and dealing with how he misses his old family and friends.

Heya, so unfortunately I've been stuck in a bit of a shit situation with work, we're very painfully understaffed and shouldering a lot at the moment. I'm having to work until midnight most times on home on the work laptops (literally my dreams have been doing work, it's all so pathetic!).
So I'm absolutely exhausted, the tiny amount of time I've had (which so far has been tonight only this week!), I've been spending either drawing, or with family.
I hope to be able to dedicate some time to proper rp soon, but at the moment I'm drowning in work. Sorry x

Typing this for Ed! We ended up in the hospital yesterday evening, cause he got an acute and horrible eye infection. It's so swollen he can't even open his eye, and that was his 'good' eye. So he basically can't see anything atm.
Which makes it really hard to be online right now! So he'll be away for a few days until he can properly see again.

I don't know how to say it, so I'm just going to be brief. Recently I have been feeling rather burned out from doing Kogra (so to speak), this is the reason why I'm not doing as much on her at the moment. WoW has become more of a bore over time and frankly I don't feel like playing it all too much anymore. Besides that I also got reminded that I might be kicked from my college at the end of the year, so that doesn't help the mood either.
I hope this whole downy me is just something temporary and that I shall get back rather soon, but I can't be certain about it. I'm just a bit burned out atm and need a few days/ weeks off.

So, after she had a big operation, I've been informed that my mother may die in the next couple of days if the effects of the op are not successful. If they are, she still will not be able to get chemo for six weeks, so to be honest, considering it spread from the ovaries to the liver, and now is cropping up on the pelvis, there won't be a lot of time.
I don't know what this will mean for my activity.I could be as active as ever, WoW and RP have always been coping mechanisms for me, but I may also just drop off for a while if I don't think I'm able for it. For now I'm just trying to process the bombshell.

How you all probably realised I was away from RP for a long time. To be honest I don't have the same feeling when I'm roleplaying my orcs and I decided to rp my human warrior with some friends. I do hope we might meet sometime for some cross-faction rp (Blizz plox gib cross-faction chat). As for my characters in the Red Blade, Broxxus is looking for his brother to get revenge and Kronnor is on a quest to get back the favor of elements and return to his shamanistic roots (I will probably post some stories, even if I suck at it).

Right, we've recently purchased fiber internet and we have still not actually got it working. On the last of june, our old internet contract will break... This means that if our fiber is not working before our old contract breaks, we'll be without internet until the fiber works, which can take anywhere from a day to a few weeks. This might be the case, but a man can hope!

So uh, back here again.
As I type this my mother is sitting downstairs on a recliner, gasping out sharp breaths and mumbling to herself in whatever morphine induces you in. They told her a few days ago they were stopping treatment as it has progressed too far, and I think that took its toll on whatever mental fortitude she had left. She's been battling the disease on and off for the last five years, starting in the ovaries, and having now progressed around the body, mainly to the liver, which is quite obviously shutting down due to how yellow her eyes and skin are.
I had hoped by "there's nothing more that we can do" would mean at least a few weeks, but to be honest she could well draw her last breath today, but if not, certainly in the next few. It's crazy to think I was laughing with her and having full conversations last week, and now when I look her in the eye I realise she doesn't even know where she is. So yeah, I might be on, I might not. Chances are I will just to get away from everything, but we'll see sure.

She passed away at 6.27am. Had myself my da and her sister with her. Dyou know what though, I'm happy in a way for her. Not a lot of people can say they died in their own bed. That's where she wanted to go in.

My card is now sent to the store were I bougth it, but before I either get a new one, or what they decide, they want to have one of their technicians to look at it, which means I won't be able to play until around thursday or friday according to what they said. SO behave while I am gone, and those that want to do their path of strenght training, can either send me a Pm here, and I write your names on the list of people I will talk with when I get back, or turn to Koz. as he as an emergency have gotten all the training notes, so he knows what hell to put you through :P

Hrm. I suppose my message here is way over due, as most of you know that I haven't been around for some weeks/month(s?) I lost track of it already to be honest.
Hell I see so many new faces on the forum every day already! You lot never stop breeding like rabbits..
Anyhow! The reason for my absence has ben that I've had to deal with some stuff, it has for the most part killed any desire I had to RP, and whilst things are better and on the up and up again I still can't quite find the urge to RP, despite missing it. Though I am unsure if I miss that or just ranting in the channel whilst nobody listens.. :P
As for Okram's whereabouts, he's in Alterac Valley and left shortly before the tribe left to the Barrens and the invasions begun. Like the brooding tosser he is he didn't tell anyone but I'll mention it anyway. :p
But yeah thats basically why I haven't been around, personal stuff really. Hopefully with legion I'll be a bit more inclined to play and RP again though I do think I'll mainly focussing on raiding again.

Just a quick heads up that my current semi inactivity is simply due to physical exhaustion. After an extremely lazy late July and August my training has picked up again since monday the 29th and my body still needs to come to terms with the new regime. I'll be unsubbing after a long period of absence. I don't really get my kicks from WoWRPas much as I did pre-legion, Dunno why but I guess things started to feel more and more baron as Legion drew close. I generally do DND for my RP dosage so if people are game for that kind of rabbit hole maybe a guild game would be cool.

Hi so as you lot might of notice I'm not on a lot if at all, mainly due to getting into other games and mainly since I do not feel like playing Izeira much, I don't feel she's develop much as a character and most events I show up on her I tend to spend sitting in the background.
As such I'll be leaving the guild as her and rerolling her into a new character, maybe I'll show up again as another orc or maybe I'll retire full time from roleplaying don't know yet.
But even still I have enjoyed this guild and the people in it, wishing you all best and hope to see you lot another time. Goodbye.

I've had a bit of a breakdown yesterday, and after some thinking I decided I'll be stepping away from RP with my orcs for an undecided amount of time. This has nothing really personal to do with anyone here, it's just something bothering myself greatly which will either pass, or it won't. Perhaps I'll be back next week. Or not. We'll see. If anyone really really really needs one of my chars IC, let me know and I'll see what I can do. (Like for your tasks, Tagrok, I don't intend to leave you without a tutor, with you just having one task left to do.) I'll be online probably, but just wanted to give a general little explanation here, even though it's kinda vague. I'm sorry peeps.

Hey all! It's been a little while since I've shown my face around here, and I'd like to apologize for the lack of activity as well as notification thereof. As some of you may be aware of by now, the reason of my absence has been entirely due to real-life related reasons: There's been the long flow of holiday celebrations and the shenanigans of which kept me offline for quite a great deal of time, and then there was the no small fact that Sinami and I have been making plans to start living together for quite a little while now. Thankfully, these plans are slowly coming full circle now and we plan to make the move happen properly on the coming 20th of January. Until that time, I expect we might still be quite a bit busy making preparations and the like to make everything go smoothly (moving an entire livelihood from Sweden to the Netherlands isn't as easy as one might think, in spite of all kinds of technological advances). Once all that's taken care of though, I do hope to be a little more active again and be able to show my face in WoW every once in a while! Hopefully, Blizzard will have fixed the loading screen issues that I've been plagued with for some time by then as well, but until then, I hope you all will behave! ;)

News just in, looking at 2 months of being unable to live in my home. Managed to find some sort of bungalow park, but I am unsure how good the Internet is. Luckily I'll be moving to Austria before that time, so I hope to be able to be around a lot more during the initial weeks of February... Until then, I might be online sporadically if I manage to hijack someone's place for the time being.

Hello everyone
I am going to be taking a break from WoW and RP for an undecided amount of time, and if I come back I don't think I will be RPing in the Tribe. I've just recently gotten bored of WoW RP, and I realized the guild today isn't what it used to be for me. I want to apologize to Koz for making plans for holding a plot chain to keep people entertained, and then leaving abruptly after. I also want to apologize to everyone for leaving you all in the thick of it. I hope you will all be well for the future. Who knows, I might (probably) will come back at some point.

I'll be away from tomorrow the 22nd up until the 4th due to Christmas and new years shenanigans. May pop my head in-game whenever I have the opportunity, but don't expect any RP or such to happen from my end. Listen to the big orcs while I'm gone and keep the place in one piece!

So as some of you may have noticed, I haven't been around lately. That is due to a hell of a lot of stuff happening in my life, since I stopped at my studies, to find something else I would do with my life. That causes another problem aswell other than me being busy, I do not currently have the money to keep my Sub up, and It have now run out. I hope to get things settled soon, and hopefully find a job, but until then, Take care, and don't go and get yourselves killed
