The air was thick, like a choking smog it clung to the orc's nostrils, a haze of sulfur and shrapnel caused him to cough and splutter, his eyes squinting he peered out across the blood-stained mesa, death and destruction lay in his wake, yet he did not care. He was in his element.
The artillery fire was deafening, as if he wore a target upon his back shells rained down, with a grunt he plunged a cumbersome finger into each ear as he strode into the fray, the bones of the fallen crunching beneath his boot. Grinning broadly he parried their pitiful blows, the clash of steel and the spurt of crimson filled him with an unrivaled pleasure.
"Ghrm-hrm, is that the best yers can throw at me! Damned whelps!" He cackled madly, his mouth dripping blood as his eyes filled with an un-natural rage.
His spiked boot crunched into the chest of yet another on-rushing invader, cracking ribs and sinew as the lifeless body tumbled down the ramp as his axe continued its maniacal onslaught, a whirling torment of blows, swinging wildly cutting a swathe through the swell of their ranks. He spat in the dirt, beating his chest in triumph he beckoned them on.
"Bah, come yer mongrels! Taste th'steel o' tha' Warsong! Ruuurugh!" His cackling continued, his cracked skin covered in the organs of his foes, relishing the slaughter.
"The line is lost you fool! Fall back before we're overrun! Doomhow-" The Warseer howled, barking orders as his claws ripped through the jaw of another iron orc.
"Pfah!, I'll hold 'em off, get tha' injured t'safet-" His words cut short as his skull met cold steel, the sickening tear of muscle and flesh filled his ears before the darkness overtook him.
Waaaaiiit.. Yo wut. Rashka just started to like you too!
