Just wondering if anyone else from here was going to Blizzcon this year.
No moneys for it :(
Is it likely we see the new expac announcement at Blizzcon this year, at least? 6.2 seems to be the last major raid patch of WoD (unless Blizz have a real curveball leading into 6.3), so there almost has to be something announced.
South Seas/Maelstrom? Emerald Dream? Argus? Mists of Australia?
No monies for Blizzcon, sadly. :( As for expansion announcement:
Considering we haven't seen Grom yet, I wouldn't be so sure about 6.2 being the last raid tier, since they did say he would be the final boss
And I personally think announcing another expansion this soon, is way too quick, even if they promised to do expansions faster I find it unlikely. But we'll see I guess. :P Honestly I prefer expansions coming out every 2 years, instead of one every year like they claim to be aiming for now, because it gives me more time to do achievements, reputation and stuff like that.

Spoiler: Significant 6.2 spoilers • show Grom is chained up in Tanaan, and voice files have him cheering on the PCs and depending on your interpretation, possibly dying during the final boss battle as an homage to Warcraft 3. He's a good guy now, and possibly won't live past 6.2.

Bear in mind that WoD didn't debut for another year after it was announced, which is fairly typical for expac releases. Having a new expac in late 2016 doesn't sound unreasonable, especially if 6.2 is the last major patch we see until then.

I see. Interesting, and unexpected.

True that, so I guess that means we won't see the next until late next year or so then.
Only interesting in so far as there will be a SC2 tournament that might be entertaining. And 100% free.
Never been in one and...neither do I have the time to go to such.
Id like to go one year but probably not this time. Extremely curious about the next xpac tho, as theres so many options at this point all of which are very exciting :D
I like having a virtual ticket tho so I can watch tournaments
Would be cool if we got to stay on Draenor. Maybe that mysterious southern continent?
That mysterious southern continent was actually confirmed to be the Ogre homeland, during the last blizzcon. ;) But yeah maybe we'll go there. That'd be cool.
SOME DAY I will go there. And cosplay. (I hope) that's the dream atleast anyway. (If wow isn't dead by then)

World of Warcraft: Ogre empire. Sounds legit.
