Orcs of the Red Blade

I've officially stolen this thread off the Sixty Thieves forum, because it's one of those threads that I highly enjoy reading. I suppose I'm a nosy orc, or something. I have a feeling Burgorg will recognise it quite alot, as well as any other ex-thief, but blah! It's so fun.

Basically, the intent with the thread is for you to just post whatever you want to have said. If it's regarding something good/annoying/bad in-game or out of game or whatever. No mindless spam, but just something!

I'll start, I reckon:

Blargh! I'm sitting here with an exam that's due 14:00 on friday, and I have another assignment to turn in as well. I'm tired, whiny and I have alot of work to do. But at the same time, I have an entire summer to look forward to, with fun aplenty that has been planned into it.
*grumble* Oh! and I want a proto-drake. <_<

Grumbly and a little huffy here. Crave to get some outside fresh air and do something with the hot, sunny weather out there, but I have to stay indoors for some repairmen to come over, which could basically be on any given time of the day. So now it's just listening to noisy music and taking care of random stuff, like feeding kitties and... gaining my 50k honour kills achievement. *Twitch*

Weather is simply gorgeous! So I'm sitting in my sun-lounger on the laptop - gotta love Tuesdays  :)

Seriously worried about the gig tonight, but so far the others went well so hopefully all will be well tonight too.

Aside from that... I am bored ridged. Wanted to write a Maz story but I can't even think of a topic! I blame the heat *nod nod* Give me idea's if you have them people! I asked the cat.... she just purred at me, not helpful :P

But college has almost finished so next week I shall have Thursdays to myself again, Yay! ;D Not sure what I'll do with it though... I have all the pets I want for WoW... bah! I'm sure I'll find something to do with Thursdays ;)

I got my meds back.. double stronger to my stomach virus and tomorrow blood sample & And telling the military Iar not guing!

And I hate to update addons!

bored most of the times, luckely i can check my bro's pc every morning like now :o atm nom nomming my cereals after I fed my silly cat :3 and dreamd weird but cool stuff x3 too bad i always have to wake up during those cool dreams. But my mood is ruined when i think of the thought exams start in a week and french is the biggest and hardest exam ever D;

Tbh Terminator movies have gone worst.

Thing about this new Terminator movie is that, all though the dude directing it is the same dude who did that terrible Charlie's Angels Movie, the storyline is breaking away from the original Terminator films.

Note: I love the first film, the second I also love (in reality it is my most favouritist film ever, along with Predator)... as for all the spin off thingies and that pile of rubbish that was supposed to be the third film... bla bla bla - I loath them. I can't even watch them without curling up into a ball and begging for an answer as to why the morons even bothered making them, let alone bothering to put them on air.

Anyway - firstly, John Conner is not the main character in Terminator Salvation (he has a huge part but he is not the main). Secondly, the story is set in the future... and stays there! Thirdly, they have not (as far as I know) brought back Arnie the Govenator. Fourthly, they are treating this film as the first in a new trilogy. Forget the old films! This is (apparently) going to be totally new!

Plus - Christian Bale isn't too bad an actor.

I shall see the movie I am sure when it comes out on DvD. Never liked cinemas

Mazguuls post about the Terminator movie made me think of The new X-men Movie, The Wolverine Origins, Lovely movie, always liked X-men and that Mutantness <flex>

But one or two weeks later I found two major flaws in the -new- movie that takes place -before- the old ones.

I could tell the flaws, but affraid of getting yelled at for spoiling!

I'm a huge X-men fan, and I liked the first two movies. But I though the Wolverine one was.. bad, to say the least. The special effects made me want to take a spoon to my eyes. But blah, each to his own!

Terminator was a good brainless action flick, and not at all as horrible as the previous one.

I'm just feeling rather happy over being free from uni for a while, and having some great stuff to look forward to this summer!

Grrr... ever since our cute lil cat goes outside, strange bigger cats are plotting ways to sneak in our house and steal the food of our cat  >:(  And it's always those 2 orange fatties... I hope my *roar* scared them off for good <,< but I doubt that.

Oooh, Greggar roar! Got this fat, black stray cat who keeps on trying to sneak into our home too, though he's pretty nice when he's not in close contact with others. Really protective about our street. Keeps on marking cars to make it his territory, and all. o.o Not to mention he's got the craziest name I've ever heard for a cat... Picasso. <_<

As for me, I've finally grown to realise I've got an entire holiday in front of myself as well, and I'm not quite sure what to do with it all yet. Maybe I'll grow bored shitless, or maybe I'll just find something useful to do in the meantime. But as it stands now, being a lazy sod as it is, I'm quite fine with the way things are for now.

Lucker :3 My exams start tomorrow and won't end till 23rd of June or something. Hopefully I'll succeed eh x,O But hey, aslong I can "abuse" * cough cough* my friends with asking nicely if they can send me their summaries then I'm happy :3

X-men movie (the wolverine one) was bad... but bits of it made me smile so I can't complain too much. Watched a film called Outlander last night - hilarious. Kind of a cross between Highlander and Predator. Good all round action, with Vikings, visitors from space, and a dirty great dragon/monster/thing.

Next door have a new cat - it's taken over our garden and I don't like it as it is vicious and unfriendly. The only thing I'm worried about is it meeting my cat who is toothless, blind and a softy - she wouldn't last five seconds - luckily she stays in doors all the time so she should be all right so long as the git cat doesn't get in.

Free at last! No more college! ;D

Currently levelling up a rogue, so if anyone wants to level with me I wouldn't mind - kinda bored of only doing dailies with Maz so thought I'd go back to the class I love *nod nod*

I have fixed my motorbike too! Unfortunately this weekend just gone it was perfect biking weather but it wasn't fixed. Now it is fixed... the weather is rainy and horrible. Oh well - I just need to fix the car now :P

No more physiotherapy as of the end of next week! Which is wonderful news - have to go back for check up to make sure my back and shoulders are fine but that's about it.

Anything else? No - I don't think so. Unless anyone knows the answer to a question that had been bothering me. "Edible sounding communication's system went on sale 1984" - I think the answer is 'apple mac' but.... was it launched as a communications system?

Anyways - I'll stop now before this turns into an essay.

Sorry - I just need somewhere to write something as I have no-one to talk to here at home (living with a load of blokes sometimes has it's down points *smirk* )

Currently waiting on more news (I'm hoping it's good rather than more bad) about a family member of a friend of mine who was knocked down in a hit and run accident on Sunday - it's not looking too good at the moment. It's my mate's cousin, who is the same age as me... only 25 - all he was doing was walking home! It's just a senseless waste of life. Over the years I have lost a best friend, and four other friends to various road accidents so this is bringing back some really nasty memories - I'm just praying that he'll be all right - he's such a nice guy and doesn't deserve this.

On another note, I had six Open RP's (text ones) on the go and all of the have stopped - I really needed them to fill up the void. I'm bored, have no money so can't go out anywhere but my housemates can so I'm on my own all the time, work is horrible as the new child that has started is a little git (he punched me the other day and broken my glasses - so that's another expense I can't afford), my cat is unwell (this is where my money is going), I can't afford my MOT for my car so I'm having to steal lifts, my bestmate's new girlfriend can't stand me so I never see him any more, the same girlfriend has made him kick me out of the band just becuase she doesn't like me (which means I've lost another income... and all I did wrong was be female and near him... she seems like such a nice person, but *shrug* she wants me gone and so I'm 'gone'), my fish tank has some sort of fungal infection and has killed off over £100 worth of my fish and finally it's another week till my other half gets back from his business trip to save me from my misery (he's been gone fore two weeks all ready) - I just can't wait till the end of the month... hopefully things will be a little less depressing and I'll be a little less lonely.

I really don't think I should post this... but Morgeth did say we could post the 'bad' - hopefully a self pitying rant is fine too. Kinda hope it makes me feel a bit better.

Cat is a lot better (and yes, that is her actual name), I think I've got the fish tank problem under control and only a few more days till my other half is back. So not as miserable.

My sister always tells me that 'only boring people get bored' - this means I must be the most boring person on the planet. *Smacks head on the keyboard repeatedly* I am going to have to find a new hobby before I go mad with boredom for WoW is not enough, yes yes.

As for me, I'm planning to head to the gym quite soon again to see if it's open, which is starting to get a frustrating, little matter of mine, because it's been closed because of a regional holiday for four days now, should it be closed today as well. This is not what I pay those people for, damnit! Not doing anything at all whatsoever for an entire day tends to give me an awkward feeling of uselessness. <_<

Gym? Jim? Who is this Jim? :P Never bothered with the gym - it's boring and inside. Plus I don't see the point of riding something unless it breathes or has an engine. Besides, I get more than enough exercise at work and at the weekends.

Well, Oliver (who has been sedated since his crash on Sunday) is slowly being brought round over the next few days - hopefully he had no brain damage or paralysis *crosses fingers* I'm so worried and frightened for him and his family.

Right - I can't be miserable 24/7 so here's a little something to prove I'm not a complete manic depressive - The weather here is beautiful, blue sky and no clouds, and there's a paddling pool at home in my back garden waiting for me which I'm seriously looking forward to sitting in, with a book and a pint, when I get out of work. I'm spoilt for choice on books too as my boyfriend brought me back a few as presents =) (he came home early to rescue me *nod nod*)

Gyms are definately not for everyone, not even sure they are for me, but blarr. I have a feeling I'll be sore tomorrow.

Oh! Spied a building that I'd like to 'claim' for a Maz and her growing 'wolf pack/collection'. Going to have to check no-one from the guild already owns it though... will have to pester people when they get online :) I'm never sure on the 'etiquette' for this kind of thing.

Lots of people are MIA, I'm wondering if that's because they enjoying the nice weather rather than sitting inside with WoW. Not that I blame them ;)

As for coping with the heat, I've managed to salvage and fix an air conditioning unit from my old engineering company - hmmmm... shame I can't use it to cool down outside... or my car (yeah - got that fixed too ;))

Same short shorts here! The temperature's expected to rise even more during this week, so I finally gave in to my pride and started wearing some shorter clothes again, which can be especially useful if you just return from the gym and got... utterly... sweaty.

Meep! I really enjoyed the event yesterday, with us moving to Stonetalon. Was real nice to see so many orcs muppeting about just being their awesome selves.

On another note, I'll be away from WoW about two weeks in july, 19th-31st. During these days I will also be showing our chieftain some of the good life in Sweden - aka scaring him shitless - so I reckon he'll be missing too. I'll try to return him in good health, but I'm not giving any promises. Anyone else interested in being shown about the swedish wildlife is more than welcome to poke me. We have ELKS! RAWR!

- Stupid server maintenance... now what am I supposed to do to alleviate my boredom?! I might actually have to get off my arse and do some housework. I loath housework!
- Just started watching a mini series called "Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire" and, honestly, I haven't laughed so hard in a looooooong time. I had tears in my eyes - it brings back so many hilarious memories of my old DnD group and our crazy adventures :D Not only that but the humour in the series is rather good to ;)
- Was wondering if I should start writing a few little bits on Maz starting to do the whole 'Shaman' thing. Or it is just too much? As in, is it too much for her to become even a mildly ok-ish shammy at all? Still can't decide *nod nod grin*

I'd level the shaman, but it seems I've been left leveling my cousins shaman while he's in hopsital *mumbles about cosmetic surgery* But I'll be willing to give you some boosts on him, if he can pinch any green or better items that drop you don't need or want, for Enchanting purposes.

My boyfriend has decided I have swine flu. It has nothing to do with our friend who he works with getting it and giving it to me (she is fine by the way). No. It's because he forgot to tell me that the landlord was paying us a visit (so I didn't have time to completely sort out the house) and he needed an excuse to stop the landlord coming round. I'm fine, physically never better...
Yes it is nice that the landlord not not coming to visit but it is bad that when I next see him I have to fake that I had the flu. GAH! MEN!!!

On a side note, my grandpa who recently had a mini-stroke (that's why I've been so damned miserable recently) is getting much better.

I'm currently situated in the capital of my "grand" country, sitting in my sisters apartment, enjoying all the fancy stuff that she and her husband have. Quite interesting really, since we live such different lives, with very different incomes and such. And to think that all I have to do in exchange for this is keep her ruddy flowers alive!

Pure luxury for only watering plants? :3 Heh, nice.

I tried to get into med school and didn't make the cut, sadly. Really a damned shame as it's really something I aspired to do. So now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life. Was thinking of political science, but it all seems 'meh' with my first choice.

Could also try to get in next year and take a year off. But I suspect I'd get bored rather quickly; all my friends are going to universities all across the country, and my social life wouldn't really shoot through the roof during my off-time. Then again, I could also backpack a year and visit some far away countries (Australia like any other teen lawl). But - then again - I have no savings but a small E. 3.000 which I actually needed to have some kind of back-up during studying. One way or the other; I'm pretty much bonk'ed.

Uni's always look at gap years with a keen eye - so long as you didn't sit around the whole time and do nothing then they'll like that you went off and matured a little before coming back. I too kinda didn't get in the first time - my choice in the end was to work for 6months in a job I hated (visiting my friends who had gone to uni without me, thus still having a weekend social life at least) and then I blew everything I had saved during that 6 months on travelling across Europe, down to Cyprus and then Egypt. Afterwards I reapplied to the University and the idiots let me in as I had 'struck out alone' and 'learned some good life lessons' (to this day I don't understand what they meant) *nod nod*

I'm not saying that you should do what I did, just wanted to let you know that I kinda understand how horrible it feels when you don't get to where you want to go with regards to Higher Education and feel totally CBA about doing anything else. Regardless - good luck =)

Feeling a bit lazy right now, but in quite a good way. This fall's semester of uni is closing in, which isn't too bad for me. I'll have a bit of a holiday too just before it, which ought to serve my mind well.
Got alot to think about really, but sometimes I just like taking a step back and viewing it from a distance. It can become so easy to just get sucked in and thinking about how bad everything is. All you need is a bit of perspective, courage and patience with yourself, and I reckon things will work out for the best in the end.

Durr. Not sure if I was sounding like dr Phil or a hippie there, but anyway! I was pondering some strange attempt at a chain-event for some of the more spiritual orcs of the tribe, but I'm not sure how to actually post it, since I'm not sure how many actually read the forums. Hrm.

As per usual life is completely unpleasant for me. My boyfriend and I are finally able to afford getting our own place after eight years of saving. Trouble is... neither of us are too sure it will work out. Sure, we've been together a long time and we do give a damn about each other but... neither of us have the same goals, or likes, or anything much any more.

Bah - his idea is to get a six month contract and see if I 'lighten up'. I guess that's the sensible thing to do...

I'm just terrified of being single for all of eternity.... pathetic, isn't it? Then again, it would be nice to start enjoying life again.... or would I? Is the grass really that much greener over the other side of the fence? Should I not just grit my teeth and get on with it? Should I not be content with what I have?

Ah, le difficulties of ze life. It's all about enjoying it in the end for me. I wouldn't want to settle with someplace or some job or whatever that wouldn't be to my liking whatsoever. If you feel something's wrong, find out what or try to put it into perspective and try to work on it. Of course that's more easily said than done, but shoving things into a perspective is what helped me in some times of need.

Speaking of enjoying it, I'll have a particular Swedish orc coming over here by Monday next week, lasting for about a week. I might have a laptop out there, but I'm not sure if it can even handle WoW, so the Chieftain might take another, little vacation again, lasting from Monday 17th until Wednesday 26th! After that, ye good ole college starts again. Which, while we're on the subject, will be sending me on a little survival-like trip shortly after, too. Yay for developing team spirit when you're out in the woods, cleaning your butt with some leafs!

Eh, when it comes to my life there is little to say.

I am one lucky F**k. I have few friends but they are good friends. We keep to ourselves and enjoy the world as it comes.

I have what I need atm. The only issue forth coming is University and getting a decent job and driving lessons. All of which will be difficult but if I fail its not the end and I will take a different route.

And currently I have all the time in the world to just waste away, doing sod all and considering plans for the future.

Alot of people always give advise on how life should go, but there's never a right or wrong answer with a lot of things, just opinions. So hey, erm, won't be preachy any longer. Not really much I can waffle on about I don't think.

Getting an Air Rifle next week, a right good one. should keep the Foxes and any other miscreants away. Wouldn't mind shooting the dick who drives around town at midnight screaming rude words waking everyone up.

And my B'day is on the 18th next week as well. All fun and games aye.

Saw two films recently (kinda of amazing as I don't normally have the attention span for it but after a another motorbike accident I've been pretty much stuck doing things that involve 'sitting down' :P) but these two were, like, amazing!

The first one was the new(ish) Terminator film - honestly, it was soooo much better than the third and it was really good fun! The second was called District 9. Ok, so I cried through out the whole thing but if you like action packed sci-fi's, but with a storyline you have never seen before, go see it!!! :D

Does anyone have a time machine so I can have an eighth day a week please? *giggle*

and were just trying cash in on some thing that should of ended on a high.

Oh I can agree wholeheartedly that the Terminator films should have stopped after two. But as a stand alone cheesy action film with robots and explosions, T4 was rather good. Mind you, my kind of film is the sort where you sit back, forget about thinking and just watch the pretty fireballs. The third was enough to make me want to hurt people - to say I hated it is putting it mildly.

What's wrong with Postman Pat?! Classic stuff that! :P Not in the same league as Thundercats, He-Man and Bagpuss but still a classic ;)

On another note, my little car is finally being retired early. Due to this 'Scrappage Scheme' thing she's worth £2000 rather than 20p. Which is rather nice. So I'm using my little old darling to get my dad a new car (at £2000 cheaper) and I'm getting his old one.  It's is going to be the newest/nicest car I've ever owned. I'm very excited, it's got all the luxuries I could ever want AND a sunroof that doesn't leak. Though I can't help but think I'm betraying my old Deathtrap - guess it's a female thing, you know, thinking objects have feelings.

Sorry, my lesser half has gone on a stag do for the weekend (not his I hasten to add)... along with all my housemates. This means I'm very bored.

I miss my car :(

I miss the leaking sunroof. I miss the way she whistled over 40mph. I miss the way you couldn't drive over 80mph because the bonnet would fly open and you couldn't see. I miss the way she back fired and scared people to death as they thought they were being shot at. I miss the smell of burned out electrics. I miss the knocking noise when ever she went round a corner. I miss the way the mirror fell off when you tried to adjust it. I miss having to use my foot to kick the gearstick into reverse on a cold day. I miss laughing at people who leaned back too hard in the passengers chair (despite my warnings) and suddenly found themselves looking up at the roof. I miss having to lock the car door and climb out the other side as the locks didn't work. I miss having to tie the boot shut with string. I miss watching the headlights dim when I turned on the radio. I miss never having to drive to the pub because non-one wanted to go in the 'Deathtrap'.

... have to admit... this new one is much nicer though... it actually accelerates up a hill for starts ;)

I am looking for an excuse to create moar Orcsies, and I am wondering if anyone needs a character connected to their own lore? Like family ties and such? Would love to do something silly like that (yes, I know you haven't heard even the smallest squeek from me in... months(?) but since I failed to get into raiding in the beginning (palaladins are a boar... err, bore) and WotLK wasn't very alt-friendly like Cata will be, so I kinda dropped out temporarily. However, I would like to make a comeback within a... reachable future, at the least, and would like to commit myself to more personal RP, compared to the 'lone-wolf' I've been doing for 4 years now. Just curious 'bout if anyone's been needing anything like't, 'tis all. :)

Well, Grimwolf is IC'ly Greg's biological father and once of greg's brothers was Tahachi. Truth is Grimwolf ic'ly was a very bussy orc in his glorious youngher years as scout and saw many female orcs : x

So in truth greg could have so many unknown brothers and sisters from different mothers. Always a spot open o,X

Mazguul's only living relative is her father, whom she only remembers as an overly protective, proud git (he never talked of his life before Maz was born (she isn't too sure where though as all she remebers were the internments camps from her child hood)) whom thought his youngest daughter, Mazguul, a bit of a nutter (she hears voices in her head for Grom's sake).

Maz went out hunting and returned a week later to find their village in the Northern Barrens was burned to the ground and all the inhabitants slaughtered. Night-elf bodies were there too, also rotting in the sun with orc corpses (her mother, her sister, her three pups, her mate, her life). Having never found her father's corpse to bury with the others she assumes he is still alive... somewhere... maybe.

That's the short version of it. Um... just a silly idea *nod nod* Aside from that I have no idea - personally I like Greg's idea as it leaves it so open for you Plus, I have no 'need' either, twas just another idea :)

Morgeth has no family, really. I always had the option open that somewhere her father is alive. I'm pretty certain her mother is stone-cold dead but there's a number of other relatives could-be's out there. But mluh, might want to go for something more structured, I suppose.

However, knowing myself, I'll probably not be able to find the courage (motivation) to level more than two Orcs until the Cataclysm (with one being a Death Knight), and undoubtably I'd level one during the X-Pack, but that's only three o' 'em. What I'm getting at is that I'd love to take part of several of your suggestions, since I really fancy playing as "someone else's character". The whole kidnapped-and-turned-into-a-gladiator-by-bloodthirsty-orcs thing? He was on his way to a peace summit with the Horde when it happened. Jaina convinced him to attempt to set up another conference with the Horde. Thrall showed up, brought Garrosh (who was his usual rabid self), and Thrall also brought Rehgar Earthfury, the bloodthirsty orc who had kidnapped Wrynn and forced him fight in Dire Maul. Real smart, Thrall, real smart. Why didn't Wrynn remember to have a necromancer raise Blackmoore so Thrall could get the same feeling?

And to make things worse, the Twilight's Hammer cult decided to use that opportunity to attempt to kill Wrynn, using a mind-controlled orc. That orc was Garona Halforcen, the same orc who stabbed Wrynn's father through the heart before his eyes as a child. That looks real bad for the Horde there. But Wrynn decides to take the high road, and rather than declare war on the horde, he focuses the Alliance's efforts against the Scourge, forsaking true peace in favor of detente. But the Forsaken strike, dealing a crushing blow to the war effort, killing thousands of Alliance soldiers in Howling Fjord, and thousands more at the Wrathgate, including Bolvar Fordragon.

Even so, Wrynn decides to make a surgical strike on the Undercity. In the Undercity, he's presented with the full extent of the machinations of the Horde, and who does he find standing in the Undercity's throne room, fresh after this discovery? Thrall, with a small army behind him. Yeah, that looks real good for the Horde. Especially since dreadlords don't leave corpses, so he can't know that they just finished off Varimathras.

The true irony of the situation is that Varian Wrynn was long the most moderate of the Alliance leaders. After the defeat of the Horde in the second war, the accepted plan was to execute every last orc on Azeroth. No survivors. Wrynn convinced the alliance leadership to simply contain the orc in internment camps. King Terenas wanted to kill them all, King Greymane wanted to kill them all, Lord Proudmoore never stopped wanting to kill them all, Magni agreed after the siege of Ironforge, King Sunstrider wanted to kill them all.

The lone dissenting voice was that of King Wrynn, the man who had lost more to the orcs than any other, convinced the Alliance to let the orc live. And yet, the actions and inactions of the Horde since then has been enough to convince the most tolerant of the lords of the Alliance that they are a threat to the survival of the Alliance greater than Yogg-Saron. Not all of it is the Horde's fault directly -- but a large amount of it is."

On another note - I feel old, fat, ugly and unloved (especially after someone asking 'Just seen your pic, how old are you?')... basically... I miss my cat. So I'm getting a couple of rescue cats ;D Hopefully they will fit in over time :) Perhaps one day I will find a man as nice as a cat, until then I shall just continue to be miserable about never having kids, never getting married and turning into the 'Mad Old Cat Lady' where I shall die alone... and subsequently have my corpse get eaten by my own cats because I wasn't there to feed them cat food. Still! I have kitties coming to live with me again and that will make me very happy indeed.

Going on holiday - I'm going to some place in the Netherlands apparently (my sister organised it, she's scary, I just do as I'm told.). Alistair is very nicely done though, he's just so adorable! I could eat him! Zevran was not a dissapointment either - plus with that lovely little twist where if you get to the end and both 'love' you... perfect! I get to be Queen AND have my cake and eat it :D

Even with the EA take over I am still pleased by Dragon Age. Shame it's so damned addictive!!!

Meh - I genuinely love games. Some go for books, others for film and others still for TV. I have no real interest in any of those (I just get bored too quickly with things like that if I'm not laughing a lot) so I have all the time I could want for gaming. Plus I sleep a lot less than the average person too (always have). That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :D

Thing is though, these days, unless an RPG has a damned good romantic plot line in it for my very own generated female character I'm just not interested. I am, after all, female and love a good old romantic plot line - where else am I going to find romance from? :P Yet another reason why I did enjoy Dragon Age. I sense QQ in this one, all I can say. Poke me and I'll run you through some HCs, dance in some BGs and roleplay some roleplay, as for gear and money, no gear isnt needed in pve, only pvp. If you like pvp sure, dedicate to it, but can be hard, I'm stilling working on it. As for money, naah not needed unless you plan to spend alot of it. I myself is always laying on about 2k.  Anyway, I'm here for you, and grats on the merging! ^^

I tend to share my QQ when the circumstances are right x3 but thanks anyway Varg, i'll keep that in mind.

I have decided to go and poke around Blizzard myself about this. And have asked them why they aren't hurrying up, and why they are asking for personal info (there is even a damned tip saying not to give out personal info).

Just posted on the technical issues forum and am awaiting some sort of response.

Do make sure, (this may be blatantly obvious) to only send emails and phone up the right "Blizzard" as far as I know their are loads of copy cats out there who will try and steal info for scams etc.

I have lost the original CD key and I can't remember what the question was in order to give the correct 'secret answer' - I created this account, what, 2 years or so ago and have moved house so many times since then that I kinda... well... lost everything over the years (am tearing the house apart looking for it though!).

To make things even worse I registered the account in the name that I use, not the name I was born with, so proving to them that I am who I say I am is difficult. The surnames match though and anyone with half a brain cell can see that the name on the account is just a short version of the name on my driving licence. Plus my surname is damned rare, as in, there are less than ten people on this planet with it!

But, to be honest, the short explanation of why this is taking so long is: I am a supreme idiot. I can't really blame Blizzard for that, as much as I would like to. It's all my own fault.

Or I assume this is why - Blizzard have only sent the automated response to me saying that 'your request will be processed' thus I have no idea what is going on for sure.

Still, we shall see what happens - and yes, I'm being super careful as to whom I am sending the details to. As explained, phoning people is something I severely struggle to do so I'm waiting for a friend of mine to help me with it - Friday that will happen hopefully. Perhaps then I will get some answers as to why I've heard nothing at all.

I'm pretty sure the CD key is bound to your account. In fact, you can simply go to account management and download the installer from there. I don't even have any CDs lying around and more -- and just use this way.

I moved to my new studentroom near school... And I found out it's firewall blocks WoW... <_< So yea... maybe the nice people from the laptop service will help or I will only be online in weekends.

I expect to become a little less active the coming days/weeks/months, as I've been feeling less and less well and my priorities have been shifting a little to other matters in life. No doubt I might well return to WoW again when it has some new things to offer again (read: Cataclysm), though at least in the meantime, I expect to be a little less active.

I reckon you people deserved to know that. If there's anything of importance or such to report and you can't get a hold of me in-game, send either an in-game mail or a forum PM here. I'll of course try and throw in some in-game events now and then, but other than that, don't be surprised if I'm not as active any more for a little while to come.

I was so upset about my laptop dying that my best friend (who is currently my hero!) went totally nuts and has spent the past few days not sleeping trying to breath life into my huge, old behemoth of a desktop PC. It used to play WoW two years ago before I got my beloved shiny laptop (I only bought the laptop when Puta the Behemoth died (yes... I named my PC *blushes* It's a female thing dammit! )) and so he seems to think it still will IF he gets it fired up again. That way I have something to use while I save up for a new laptop (I'm a total snob, I want something expensive and pretty). After that.... we just need to find a wireless network card that actually works to get myself back online (currently I'm using my phone =P) so my best mate doesn't have to listen to me sob any more xD

So fingers crossed! I'll be back soon!!! \o/

I have, and it's cool and all :3 But I have to say one thing, the cinematic misses the approach and result part. Or, action reaction. We're only shown the arrival, approach, the action. but we never get to see the result and Blizzard should have shown what traces were left behind right on that very moment. What we see in game is some time after Deathwing went roar.

I wish I could be there for that ;_;

Now whoever I don't play it untill at lest I am done whit the last year now in my education...

at lest I have SC:2 to enjoy myself :D

I have, since friday, been more or less in constant pain. It's okay when I get out of bed, and during the day it just gets worse and worse.. Luckily I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow morning, so we will see what happens. Hopefully I will be provided with some kick ass painkillers, and a sling for my arm.

This is also why I haven't been online monday and tuesday. Can barely use that arm for typing, and as much as I love hanging out with you guys, right now the sofa wins. -.-'

Guess I'll keep you posted once I have something that looks like a diagnosis.

Right.. So I went to the doctor. Who indeed agreed that I has a pretty nasty infection, that can take 6-18 months to heal up. He gave me a pretty heavy painkiller shot (Yeah.. I got high for free!!!!) and some prescription painkillers. Let's see how this goes.

Last night, my Great Grandfather passed away silently in his sleep at the age of 94. if I'm even half as awesome when I'm 90 as he was, I'll consider myself lucky. He had a computer, and spent alot of his time playing games out on the internet. Flashgames, usually puzzle ones (the kind with words and numbers). Great Grandfather sounds distant, but in truth. I met him more then I met my uncle. He was there for all birthdays, X-mas and other holidays. He lived on his own until about a year ago, when he was diagnosed with cancer, and in the past year he's had surgery three times, the flu, and several other illnesses and still got back on his feet. But the cancer spread to his kidneys which stopped working.
At all family gatherings I ended up talking to him, listening to him telling about how things were when he was young, and how he was amazed by the technological progress in his life. He didn't even have a phone when he grew up, and he did his military service driving a horse pulled cart with supplies. To having his own cellphone and a computer. He's the one who taught me chess, and who encouraged me to read.
If I've been unstable lately, it's because ever since sunday, everytime my phone rang I've been worried it might be bad news. And I'll probably not be the most patient and stable person for the next few days either...

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Gruth. The pain is horrible, and I won't pretend like I can soothe it. You are very lucky though, to have such an awesome great-grandfather. I hope there are enough good memories to eventually put a smile on your face.

Didn't know where else to put this.

I joined DB 2.5 years ago with the intent of RP'ing PvP (first server was The Sha'tar where I was GM of a large horde guild based around spies/special forces), I did what all RP'ers do
and reasearched where best i played and came across Sixty Thieves, Upon joining I was welcomed and got stuck right into the criminal RP, but after 5/6 months, mugging the same npc
got very tedious as by then we had no other RPers to mug, plus the member base dwindled. So naturally as my character progressed IC'ly so did my RP which lead me to the greatest
Forsaken guild I've ever known The Cult of Shadow. I loved it there with all the RP centered around the forgotten shadow and all the jazz that came with that.

I still yearned for a spy/assassin/special forces RP so I started an alt guild called <Defilers> (My bank now) with that I had created (RP'ly) what I wanted from my time in this game. RPpVp
that covered all of azeroth and all of the BG's. But i became to more engrossed into the PvP side of things and just kept myself to myself, due to RL my gametime was shorter and so when
I did RP it was only PvP based. It was then I started to chat with <Jayse> (alliance rogue) about si7 RP and that lite up my fire to RP fully again. I faction changed and got stuck in. It was
awesome, I started to put together events and immerse myself with blue side RP.

But...due to my gametime/casual play when I logged on it seemed that I missed so much RP/storylines that I was left trailing and loosing confidence to host events, which lead to me keeping
myself to myself again. I took a break for 2 months, stepped back from wow is always a good thing! I still read the forums and started to read the wow books again. I played my alt Orc shaman
and got into some random Orc RP, slowly due to my gametime I immersed myself into Orcish RP and after a few weeks I decided to change <Visceril> to <Kaigron> and hoped to join the tribe
Upon joining I've been welcomed warmly by all IC and OOC'ly and at last due to my background story of <Kaigron> and the diverse RP of the tribe I finally feel like I've settled into a great RP groove.

Nice to actually hear some appreciation, Kai. ;) I think you've done a very good job giving your character his own personality within the guild so far, and that's saying a lot for being just a New Blood. In fact, I believe Morgeth already has her greedy eyes on you for a particular something in the future, that might slightly relate to your RP in the past.

That's all talk for the future though. It's always good to hear some positive words about something you're so closely involved in. In the end, of course, it's always a team effort. ;)

I am in a very "I R MAD!" state and want to typo this post to hell and back. But then Gruth will just look at me disaprovingly. And it's far to annoying when he does.

A piece of advice if I may, from spending the last 23 years building PCs and using Microsoft operating systems.  If you have to format and start again have two seperate partitions.  The first one (C:) is for the o/s and apps, depending on the size of your hard drive I'd suggest between 50-200GB perhaps more if you have a lot of apps and the second partition (D:) for all your data.  You can easily change the location that My Documents points to so using another location is straightforward.  That way if the C: drive needs formating and the o/s needs re-installing all your data is still there.

Personally I've taken it to a futher extreme.  I have two 500GB disks set up as follows

HD1
Partition 1: 150GB - C: - Operating System and standard apps
Partition 2: 250GB - F: - Virtual Machines (stuff I do related to work occasionally using VMware workstation)

HD2
Partition 1: 250GB - D: Games (seperate partition, so I don't lose these if the operating system dies; seperate disk so o/s background access to the disk doesn't interefere with game access to the disk)
Partition 2: 250GB - E: Stuff (General download and other crap I need to sort out)

As for my data, well I'm in IT and have my own server at home so its on that.

On my old non laptop setup I had it like that. And before this latest setup I used to keep everything doubled up on my external HDD. Got lazy with that and haven't lately. So now I lost loads of crap (sadface).

And if I'm unlucky it seem's that my network card has gone haywire. If I am lucky it is only our network at home that's very screwy and won't be able to get real help with that until monday.

The good news?
When I was finally gonna go down and fix my redringed xbox. After turning it on for the first time for months there was, lo and behold, no red ring. Which is something.

This friday, I slipped on my way home from work. Landed badly on my foot. Convinced I had sprained it, I limped to the closest bus stop, and took the bus to the closest point to home. Saturday, I went to the cinema to celebrate a friends birthday, and sunday, the foot had swollen up, so I spoke to a nurse over the phone who said I should visit a doctor on the monday.
I did, the doctor said it was sprained, but should be x-rayed just in case.
Turns out I had two fractures down close to the joint, and today I had surgery to set the bones straight, and I'll probably be out of the hospital thursday or friday.
Last night they stuffed me with meds, and I spent two hours debating with myself over the topic of the differences between Blizzard and a Charizard. Sadly at that point in time, I could find none...

Atleast I've got enough internet on the hospital to read forums, and use MSN!

I recall being given painkillers that made me see everything in pink... I also hallucinated bubbles everywhere and sat there giggling while trying to pop them. My friends thought it was hilarious watching me stabbing a finger in the air at nothing for hours on end. However... your little debate is a -way- more amusing story and my own!

My laptop died today. Like, seriously died. So I'm not sure I'll make it to any events in the nearest future. Trying to get some kind of replacement until I can afford a new one. So yea, see you when I see you.

Short version: busy, will be around a lot less for a few days.

Long version: I will be away for a few days (possibly a week) and only popping in and out of WoW occasionally. A good friend of mine from parts foreign has decided he'd like to visit for an unspecified amount of time and so I can't in good conscience sit on my foul PC every night while he complains that he can't play too... as much as I'd like to do it just to annoy him!

Instead I shall be -forced- to play Dominion, Munchkin and Fluxx while having booze thrown down my throat and being subjected to not having to cook. Oh the torture ;)

Well, I'm not really an expert anymore (I used to work in a computer store when I was a kid and studied computer science and communication technology for a few years, but haven't really touched this line of work for the last 10 years so I'm "a little" out of date), but maybe I can give you a few pointers. take it with a grain of salt though, like I said, I'm not an expert, this may very well be complete and utter rubbish.

When I was working in the computer store and we got in PCs/laptops that had sudden freezes/system lockups like you described (screen distortions, nothing works anymore, you can just reboot the system), it was in almost all of the cases one of two things:

1. A temperature spike in the GPU (graphic card's main processor) or the CPU (computers main processor). The greenish screen distortions do indicate that the problem would more likely to be with the GPU. Temperature spikes are usually caused by overheating of said processing units. Overheating can be caused by a too high system temperature (the whole PC/laptop is getting too warm inside), insufficient cooling of the graphic card/main processor (sometimes the fan may be too weak, malfunctioning or not installed properly) or by "overclocking" (setting the GPU/CUP to work faster than it was intended by the manufacturer).

My advice would be to monitor your system, CPU and GPU temperatures. Almost all PCs/laptops nowadays have sensors for internal temperatures of core modules so all you need is some random freeware programm to display those temperatures and maybe issue a warning when the temperature is getting too high. I'm afraid you'll have to google that up to find such a problem, because as I said, I'm 10 years out of touch :). Keep in mind though that even if your system temperature is fine, you can still get temperature spikes. Temperature spikes are highly localized (your CPU/GPU may have a perfectly normal temperature where the sensor is situated but in one tiny area, just like a square millimeter the temperature can peak at a few hundred degrees in a matter of seconds).

You can also just "feel" if your laptop is getting really hot while you play. If it feels hot to you, I definatly would look at cooling it down. There are certain "mounts" for laptops, that look a bit like a mixture of a small platform that is shaped like a clamp the size of a laptop. The reason is that having a laptop plainly on the table can lead to overheating since the air vents on the backside get blocked because the table does not allow the hot air to escape. With these cooler platforms you create a space between laptop and table so the hot air can escape better.

You can also try to do the opposite of "overclocking", to force your graphic card/CPU to work slower than intended. again, you'll need to google up some freeware programm that allows you to do that, or there may already be one with your laptop. Gaming laptops usually come with overclocking software, which can in turn be used to slow down your system.

2. the second possible reason for lockups like you described them is a messup in the computer's memory banks, usually caused by faulty memory chips. In this cache unfortunatly the only thing to do is to replace your memory chips, which can be complicated to do with a laptop.


All in all, from my experience lockups like you described were always caused by a hardware problem, in all the time I worked in the computer shop, not once did I see a computer that was given for repair do this because of a software issue, or a malfunctioning game. Again... take it with a grain of salt, since this experience is 10 years old, things may look different nowadays.

If you suspect it may be overheating or a memory problem, the best test would be to get a random graphic-heavy game, like an ego shooter and play it straight at highest settings for 5+ hours. If you experience the same lockups, then there's most likely something wrong with your hardware and you could think about invoking your warranty. If other games run flawlessly, it may still be a hardware issue, since different games stress different parts of your GPU/CPU but then things would be a little more delicate because it's possible if you send in your laptop and they can't reproduce the error. In this case they may send you the laptop back without fixing it.

There are also "stress test" programmes for computers that put all parts of a PC/laptop under heavy stress to try and trigger problems as you have them and isolate them. They are however not guaranteed to work, since sometimes the problem only appears after hours of using your computer, while these programmes usually only run 5-15 minutes. It may be worth a shot though.


Again, please bear in mind that my advice is most likely utterly outdated and amateurish, but maybe I could give you a few pointers so you can try a few things and if you have a suspicion google up for more recent and professional information.

Well, I'm not really an expert anymore (I used to work in a computer store when I was a kid and studied computer science and communication technology for a few years, but haven't really touched this line of work for the last 10 years so I'm "a little" out of date), but maybe I can give you a few pointers. take it with a grain of salt though, like I said, I'm not an expert, this may very well be complete and utter rubbish.

When I was working in the computer store and we got in PCs/laptops that had sudden freezes/system lockups like you described (screen distortions, nothing works anymore, you can just reboot the system), it was in almost all of the cases one of two things:

1. A temperature spike in the GPU (graphic card's main processor) or the CPU (computers main processor). The greenish screen distortions do indicate that the problem would more likely to be with the GPU. Temperature spikes are usually caused by overheating of said processing units. Overheating can be caused by a too high system temperature (the whole PC/laptop is getting too warm inside), insufficient cooling of the graphic card/main processor (sometimes the fan may be too weak, malfunctioning or not installed properly) or by "overclocking" (setting the GPU/CUP to work faster than it was intended by the manufacturer).

My advice would be to monitor your system, CPU and GPU temperatures. Almost all PCs/laptops nowadays have sensors for internal temperatures of core modules so all you need is some random freeware programm to display those temperatures and maybe issue a warning when the temperature is getting too high. I'm afraid you'll have to google that up to find such a problem, because as I said, I'm 10 years out of touch :). Keep in mind though that even if your system temperature is fine, you can still get temperature spikes. Temperature spikes are highly localized (your CPU/GPU may have a perfectly normal temperature where the sensor is situated but in one tiny area, just like a square millimeter the temperature can peak at a few hundred degrees in a matter of seconds).

You can also just "feel" if your laptop is getting really hot while you play. If it feels hot to you, I definatly would look at cooling it down. There are certain "mounts" for laptops, that look a bit like a mixture of a small platform that is shaped like a clamp the size of a laptop. The reason is that having a laptop plainly on the table can lead to overheating since the air vents on the backside get blocked because the table does not allow the hot air to escape. With these cooler platforms you create a space between laptop and table so the hot air can escape better.

You can also try to do the opposite of "overclocking", to force your graphic card/CPU to work slower than intended. again, you'll need to google up some freeware programm that allows you to do that, or there may already be one with your laptop. Gaming laptops usually come with overclocking software, which can in turn be used to slow down your system.

2. the second possible reason for lockups like you described them is a messup in the computer's memory banks, usually caused by faulty memory chips. In this cache unfortunatly the only thing to do is to replace your memory chips, which can be complicated to do with a laptop.

I called Alienware support a few days ago, and the guy there was sure that it was a hardware problem, so I could get my money back without any problems. So I did, and now I have a much better ASUS laptop. But thanks alot for the answers, though :)

So, last night my computer stopped starting. It still get's electrisity, but it does nothing with it!
This is annoying as hell! And tomorrow I'm sending it in for a checkup.
Depending on that the verdict it (Aka, if fixing it goes for above â,¬200) I'll get getting a new laptop (happy days) And then only be off WoW for say, a week. Otherwise I have no idea really. Fixing time I'll take as some sort of price aswell.

So, found out that it was the Motherboard that was broken. Sadfacing! And the fixing company doesn't think it's worth it to fix it even since it's far to expensive for the computers age.

Sounds all too familiar. I had this laptop that would constantly burn out because of the motherboard blowing itself up. Ended up buying a new one myself. Never looked back, as the one I own now is -so- much better, and for the same price. Hope it works out for you!

Well, my XPS was three years old, and find a modern laptop that has a mobo that lasts 4 and you're lucky.

Just that getting a new to fix the problem is at like, 800ish euro. And you get a new, modern, laptop for that.

My old Vaio, which I loved, worked for three and a half years. However - I really abused it!

I left it turned on for months at a time, it went on holiday with me constantly (I took it in a sauna without thinking once), travelled with me on my passenger's seat so I could listen to a films/music on my eight hour drives (or it rattled around loose in my boot), I dropped it at least once a week, I fell asleep on it more times than I could count, every weekend I dragged it all around the country with me to see various friends for LANs, every night it was forced to curl up with me in a duvet to play WoW/Starcraft/ put up with me writing fan fictions / yawned as I made BG2 mods / played films  -as- I was doing all those things / rolled it's eyes as I messed about with autoCAD for work / screamed with boredom while I fiddled with photoshop / sat on the kitchen side as a recipe book / had things thrown at it when it did not to do as I asked...

... and you know what? If I could afford it I would have bought another! That poor laptop was tortured by me every -single- day of it's working life and not ONCE did it complain =) In the end it over heated (oooo, I wonder why) and even -then- I used it for another three months after - I took it to bits and had several fans pointing at it *face desk* I really didn't want to let it go. If you can get a Vaio... do so!!! They're wonderful =D

Looked up Vaio, would get one after Mazzy's little confession if only for the pricetag. Have a (according to Sweclockers) decent laptop for around â,¬1000, to get about the same from Vaio ad 50% to that price. >:

I ordered my custom Vaio from the sony store. Just took the upgrades I want which cost me about 700 euro (basically all I took was the big-ass videocard and 4 gb of memory). No shipping fee either.

I took the widescreen 15.5" version though. Bigger screens cost more, naturally.

Right, for a project of school I need a program that can record stuff while I'm playing Dragon age for example. Because I'm going to compare in game cinematics of RPGs with actual movies and compare the quality of it.

I suppose it'll depend on whether WoW will have anything new to offer by that time still. At first I was rooting for SWTOR as well, though I've slowly started to get turned down from what I saw, which is mostly the combat, which has looked clunky in my eyes so far. I suppose we'll see how it will end up eventually, though it's no day one release for me, purely because I'd rather wait out how well it's going to fare first.

Yes! I've been adding to my entry every now and then whenever I have free time, and it's been a very enjoyable exercise.

I read the Shaarkub stories from beginning to (thus far) end and enjoyed them - self-contained stories, each with their own plot and moral, but linking into a larger plotline.

I'm really not that keen on devoting myself to any other MMO right now. I'll stick to WoW, despite the pandas. If Swotr is THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD then I might try it out. For now I'll just wait until Mass Effect three. *empty stare* March 2012 is so far away.

Can't say I've been tempted by SW:ToR or GW2, especially from an RP point of view. I'll still be on WoW even if Mists of Pandaria seems a comparatively weak expansion - it's still the best thing going in the MMO market.

Tbh, from an RPers PoV GW2 is extreamly nice looking.
You'll be able to swing/use all your skills at nothing. (Sadly no duels at launch from what I know)
You're free to colour your gear as you like it yourself.
At least in some bars/taverns you'll be able to start Barbrawls swinging mugs and chairs. Both with NPCs and players. You'll also have a free tab for "town clothes".
Abillity to be in multiple guilds (As in. You won't be "punished" for being with a group who only care about RP if you want to be more active in other aspects of the game as well. You'll just be in two guilds and use the other one for non RP purposes).
An in-game Sport minigame that sounds -awesome- for tbh most people who enjoy orc RP (Picture Rugby, but using a KEG as a ball!)
A world that changes if you don't help NPCs when monsters attack. Or just don't help good/fast enough.

Ad the no subscription fee it's really, really tasty.

I haven't been too interested by Guild Wars myself, so I'll probably steer clear of GW2 as well. Mostly because I don't want to waste any time on yet another MMO, too. Perhaps SWTOR, should it prove to be -real- good, but I'm going to wait that one out first. As with others, ME3 is the way to go for me. A bit of Skyrim along the way with it.

Of course I'll stick with WoW still, but I can honestly say that the latest expansion doesn't interest me one bit. I suppose it remains to be seen in regards to the game and, mostly, the guild as to whether I'll stick around for how long.

Koz, I've played about two hours of the Original Guild Wars game. That one doesn't intrested me, but the second does a lot.

As for ME3, oh yea I'll play it! Four player Co-Op out of campaign missions will be go!

Eeep. Early at work here (tired). I'm moving apartments now on monday, so I'll be a bit busy this weekend and possibly a few days into next week. In case anyone misses me D:

So, I tried the SWTOR beta yesterday at Crude's place.

Left me feeling very "meh". I got to almost level 5 and I had 0 drive to keep playing. I found it more fun watching him try out my Skyward Sword than keep playing the game.
The early levels fully lacked a "wow, this feels AWESOME!" feeling of the gameplay.
It was just WoW with a bit better story and less polished gameplay. Really sad, since while I wasn't intrested in the game I hoped it would still be a quite good game.

As it is it's a game that has tons of aestetics and game mechanics that clash with each other. I r sadface.

I didn't find it to be too bad. Basically felt just like any other Bioware RPG, only with other players running around. As soon as I got through the starting area and arrived in the first major station though, I found myself longing back to Skyrim instead.

So 4.3 hits us this week! (we think)
Everyone got ur transmog sets sorted and ready to go? Everyone ready to blast deathwing with Raid Finder? (with LFD experience and normal pugs I can see that being fun  >:( )

As for patch 4.3, I'm NOT looking forward to the dungeons/raids! Why anyone would do PvE is beyond me for all my experiences have been dire - except for our old raid nights, they're fun! =)

And of course I have my transmog stuff sorted! =D Though when I see others with the red dungeon shammy gear I'll have to change everything again! Must not be the same as anyone else! =P Silly 'pride' ;)

A slightly sane person ought to have been aware of Sanara's idiocy by now. He's seriously (and I'm so not kidding here) the -only- person I have consciously had on my ignore list in the past four years.

I've never had him on my Ignorelist.
But I haven't taken him seriously since say, my first month on DB. I've just use him as a source for amusement of the bad kind.

Merandil/Sanara is most likely the biggest Twat ever to roleplay on Defias Brotherhood.
He acts like he's better than everyone and never really should have to face reasonable consequenses for his actions. He also roleplay a Draenei more agressive than most bucket headed orcs.
Ingeneral he's a stuborn idiot whom people give to many chances and seem to manage to decsive peple. Maybe he's nicer outside of forums/open channels.

Insecurity in RL tends to make people douches on the internets - the only place where they can properly show their asshattery.

Being anonymous on the internet (sort of...) usually makes people go trolling because hell, nowhone knows them so no fear being stalked irl!

So some people enjoy that and be a huge asshole and when it gets too far they just make a new character...

I know. That's why I'm waiting until I can get the game with the DLC for a, imo, fair price!

I paid 700 swedish kronor for mine, which is a collector's edition and that price is what one usually pays for CE's here. DLC was included in mine.

I had the CE preordered. And I knew it was included. I still didn't agree with EA and Bioware so I removed my preorder =P

I'd gladly pay even more than 70 euros for my CE copy. One of the best games I've ever played by a long shot already, not a single doubt about that. I've paid 80% of this price for games that weren't worth half of its price.

Now, I shall return in two weeks.

for you who does not know: Smite is a Third Person MOBA game, taking mythology as characters (not only gods)
currently, they are using Hindu, Egyptian, Nordic and Greek
Some (not all of them) are: Odin, Ymir, Bakasura, Vamana, Ra, Anubis, Zeus, Hades and little Achene

If anyone is interested to try, I got a beta key I think hiding somewhere (and whoever get that beta key gets 3 more... so we can probably invite everyone who would like to try it)

There is not enough to make you different in your make up.
I think it will all come down to your items.
Only one that I think has scored is the warlock.
