Title: Patch day!
Post by: Norv on April 15, 2009, 05:33:04 PM
Yes, patch day. Fun is here, many things seem to not work, addons break even updated, friends list is empty (!), and all that.
Please check out this link: wowinterface patch survival guide (http://www.wowinterface.com/survivalguide.php), a very nice page always useful (at each major patch).
Though the changes don't break today so many things as 3.0 did, it's still useful.
If you still have troubles with addons after trying to update/replace them, please let me know. I will try to make some time to tweak a few when necessary.

Is this right or am I not locking my spec in some way (Hope you understand)

I think action bars and key bindings addons will try to adapt to dual spec: they should allow you to define a profile per each spec, and switch your bars/keys to the currently active spec. As far as bindings are concerned, I managed to notice that BindPad does exactly that, it adapts nicely, automatically. Action bars, I don't know yet... It's said that Dominos doesn't work with dual spec.

Great time for the server to go offline...

No sorry not a key binding problem.
When i do my first spec it ok
Then i do a second spec for and click the talent bar at the top (Can not remember what they call it now)
My first spec is lost and so I redo it but when I save that one I then lose my second spec.
and so it goes on.

That can't be happening!
Perhaps it's exactly one of the major problems for which servers are offline again!
I didn't try yet to set the talent trees up, but like any talents tree, once you chose something it should be "final" until you do a (payed!) respec.

I added a File Repository, so feel free to upload your favourite addons, or your own UI if you fancy.

Link next to Gallary

Or, if you're too lazy - here (http://orcsoftheredblade.com/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl).

Oh! This is great!
Thank you, Drev!

...It's morning and I'm barely starting my first coffee, so please be gentle, the thing is I don't see a link to upload a file. How should them files be uploaded?
