Title: Orcish Games (27/02)
Post by: Norv on February 22, 2009, 12:40:41 AM
' "Fun".'
At the pools of Orgrimmar, the orc stares into the water.
' "Fun".'
'The war is at our doorstep, no orc can truly doubt that anymore. And who can we count on? A bunch of knights that are not to be trusted, deadies, we helped them then heard nothing of them, the thieves, ah, the thieves! No, we can only count on ourselves, as always.
But that is exactly why, if we are supposed to also "have fun" every now and then, we should find some time for it now. Soon enough, there will be no time for it.'

Norvis takes a scroll and starts writing.

Orcs,
You keep saying lately that an orc should also "let go" at times and "have fun". Well, then, you should have an occasion to do so!
There is a long time now since we played together one of those, you know, games. Though throwing skulls or paper zeppelins at each other is a game as well, I suppose. Even doing so with no particular purpose, though I am not certain I fully understand it then. However, we could play one or more of those games with rules and purpose, that is, those that are also a contest where you can test yourselves!

Something moves quickly in the pool, making waves, as a sudden memory of a game orcs were playing in water strikes him.
'Like we used to play the Ballcrackers game.'
'But it was summer back then.'

It might not be a good time of the year to play Ballcrackers, as the water in the Great Sea is still cold, I suppose, unless you orcs will want to consider it also a test of physical resistance. But there are alternatives to it as well.
In any case, I will invite you in Razor Hill, on the 27th day of the month, at the sound of the eighth horn, for a game or even two, time allowing.
