Title: Test Raid and Interest?
Post by: Loial on December 05, 2008, 07:23:39 AM
here's something i wrote on the covenant

--- quote ---

Hello  fellow Covenants
i am Loial, a Tank, and a Member of Orcs of the Red Blade.
with that said, i wanna tell you and ask you somethings. i wonder, how many of every guilds members are interesting to true serious PvE
and level 80, and are waiting for this to happen?

i'm figuring to host a test raid within the week/week's and i was thinking, if every guild on their forum could post an "interested?" post about
PvE in general and about a test run. i was also wondering if each guild could then post a list at this thread on their members Firstly lvl80 members
their names and classes and then pre 80's members. So everyone can see the interest
that also make so we can see class balances and what we have to work with (thou note, listing have nothing to do with the "test raid" part)
also, could you inform on your representative forums that they can happily visit Covenants (this) forum so they can post their interests here themself aswell.

i will check in and would be glad if you show'ed interest

wish you all the best / Loial, Orcs of the Red Blade

--- end of quote --

so... what are the orcs interest in the PvE content, interested Orcs?

I heard the raids were really easy (to pure raiders then) compared to BC at lvl 70 so, sure i can give it a try

I could be interested in a little raiding, because I'd like to see the wotlk content of it. I'm not hardcore raider, and never will be, but I have the mentioned interest at least.

I hold the same view on this as I did in TBC. I won't crave for any spots over others, but I'll gladly fill in the leftovers if there's a need for it. I'm -usually- flexible enough, so a raid every now and then might not hurt, though in the end, PvE is not something I'll be aiming for with a passion.

Not 80 yet but I’m interested.
Although the word serious is maybe not right for me. :-[
I find that some of these serious raids just bore me, all the waiting about etc just is not me.
Get in have fun laugh it off, that is what I like not the blame throwing events that I have been too when you wipe.

Time proved that raid parties with a lot of new/casual people with out real interest in PVE end up without real progress.
And especially at the begining, when the team learns the tactics there should be one fixed team which will stick together for a while, until the encounters would be done without wipes or max 1-3.

I have added you orcs who signed in here to the list of covenant raiders (http://covenant.mattler.de/forum/index.php?topic=26).
The idea was that some of us may not be covenant channel, when people are looking to fill a spot or so, then a raid leader may take a look for those on the list. Or, simply we will know each other better, and be able to know who to ask or with whom to plan.
Please feel free to correct or complete the information listed there, so we can have a list updated as much as possible.
