The orcs seem content to now openly split into their factions, each striving for power and influence. Perhaps it is time to see which of them is the strongest?
The Tournament of the Blades returns with a new twist. This will not be a contest between individuals, but a contest between factions. Darkwolves, Seers and Sythegore shall compete to see which faction is the strongest in a contest of arms.
If you want to compete, then you will have to join a faction before the day rolls round. Exact details of the form the contest will take, will be posted here soon.
Arena-like battles, éh? Sounds like an interesting twist!
So what do the Sythgore wins when we get the win ? :o :o

WIN ITS ABOUT HONOR YA NUMB NUT BUCKET EAD.

Hmm sounds fun :) but isn't it possible that this will make the factions 'dislike' each other more? ;)

The part you've all been waiting for - The rules
The Tournament will take place in Nagrand Arena, a great orcy setting. I'll try to ensure that there are warlocks present to teleport in anyone who can't make their own way there. This is going to be dangerous stuff and it's more than likely that a few spectators might get caught by the odd stray fireball. All adds to the fun when not just the losers, but some of the crowd are wiping the blood off.
There will be three events;
Event 1 - Team battle.
This will be a series of fights between two teams. The size of the teams will be decided on the day (depending on the turnout from each faction) but will probably be either 2 or 3 orcs strong. There will be one team from each faction. Each team will fight the the other two until there is a clear winner.
Event 2 - Champions
Individual battles, one on one. Each faction will enter its two best fighters. They will fight a series of contests to decide the winner.
Event 3 - Last Orc Standing
This is the big one and any member of a faction can take part. It's every orc for themselves and the winner is the one left standing at the end. Here you can expect half the crowd to get injured too, so watch this one at yer own risk.
At the end, the faction which has won most events, will be declared the winner. If there is a tie, with the factions winning one event each, then we'll get champions to fight a mini three-man last man standing to decide the winner.
I'm hoping that this will be a lot of fun and the bigger the turn out we get the better. If you are not going to take part, then it should be great fun to come and watch. If you want to take part, but are not in a faction, then get yer backside in gear and join a faction before the day of the contest.
Last word, it would help a lot if the factions can decide on possible teams and champions before the day. You might even want to hold your own faction contest to find your best fighters. Remember however, that we can only have a 3v3 battle if each faction has at least 3 people turn up. Remember too that the Last Orc Standing contest is open to every faction member at once. It could be that the faction that wins that one is not the one with the best fighters, but the one with the biggest turnout.
;D

Good luck with that. >:( >:(
NEED -TO-LVL ::)!!! i so can't wait for this i'm hoping its going to be as fun as i picturev in my head
Maruga, trust me on this one, its gonna be better. The Seers will provide three champions, I am sure of that. I'd also want to say that for the sake of balance, why don't we fightin our RP-gear? would be cool, and also it would look themed for ex in a 3v3 if one side, let's say the Seers have brown cloths, and theother, let's say the Sythgore have black it would be easier to identify each faction. And I must say I look forward to this even though I'm gonna stay out of the fighting (did you really expect me to fight?)
Well, after a quick look through the Guild list, Im officially the lowest level in any of the factions, Elders included.
So fear me! ;D I'm definatly gonna be fighting in the Last Orc standing, I'll just pretend to be dead untill the end, When i jump up and Beat on the guy with 1% health remaining...
^^ Thats a lie.. I swears.

Rogues get it the easy way!
Or hunters if no one bothers checking if they're really dead...
Tournament is coming very soon now. Remember that to take part you must be in a faction.
If you want to join one and are Oathbound, then just approach a faction leader to join.
If you are still a New Blood, then talk to me, Koz or any High Blade about getting yourself promoted.
Ok I will :D :D :D :D :D :D
Phear the fury of the Darkwolves!
On a side note...
This takes place this Sunday! As in today, at 19:30!
(And don't mention the fact that I'm actually one hour early. Pretend I live in a GMT+2 zone, m'kay?)
As far as I know it's satureday today. ::) ::)
