Is it me or do things seem to have matured to less jumping around, dancing and running near naked with only a diving helm on?

Dancing with Dwarves...Shame on you!!

you have noooooooo idea what your taliking about  :P
that was just a short clip made by... i don't remember who, and it was a happy new years clip
the "maturity" was.... exactly the same as now... thou.. i must say.. it was MORE RP thouse days and werry werry little /redorc chatter.... *shiver's*

the guild was shorter in number but the guild had it's highest activity, allways over 20 orcs online during day time at the same time, and the events had a minimum of 25 orcs participants
sometimes more, it was HUGE wars with not so many other guilds to fill our ranks

and dancing with the dwarfs... yes, we did, and it was NO shame  :P  we were celibrating!  ;D
we had a 4 month (i think it was) long W-PvP - RP event with the Dwarven Rifle Squad and the Gnomish Artillary Squad, and after long long battles over the months, we had an RP meeting with them and signed a peace-treathe, so dancing with the dwarfs.. yeah we did, and i must say it was awesome RP history that i will never! forget..  :)

It was Yorla I believe, lowbie Kargur is in that video, dancing with a horrendous coloured cloak on. My estimate is it is around 2 years ago, as it was made not long after I joined, which was September 06.

it's 2 years away  :( , all the WPvP and the RP was waaaaay better pre TBC when all was 60
after TBC release, it just went down hill, hate outland, now... when Northrend is up and running i have MUTCH more hope for it all, couse it's all on azeroth, the big citys will be flocked again!  :D

thats why i left the blades udner TBC, all the RP in whole server (not ORB) got slowed down and less and less people RP'ed... so i had no fun, so why not go pro-raiding, anyways!
i hope we can get both raiding and RP now with the Lich King!  :D

Nice to see that again, remember it well.  :)
From the daft whirl wind rouge Oznack with the cooking pot on his head to the Trial of Yoral.

As for the dancing etc it fit with what was going on at the time a Celebration of being Orc.
We fought hard and partied hard after battle, we did not all sulk away after a battle as if it had been an Inconvenience to be in battle with and for the tribe because it took us away from our own personal wars.
We made a fire and celebrated.

It was made by Yorla, Ghook with ideas from Reh , Oz, and Varg thrown in for good measure.
Yorla choreographed the whole set up from story board to edit.

This was indeed made by Yorla, yes. Although not as big as this one, she even made quite a few more back in ye ole days. In fact, she had an idea for another OotRB movie at the beginning of this year or so iirc, but it unfortunately never came to see the light. The others can be found here:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3833142751763096010&q=source:005212349644746157822&hl=en (Pretty much the same as posted above)
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1344316052482456845&hl=en (Made when she was bored)
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1772628805040548061&hl=en (The best of them all imo. Has a storyline in it, and the one she was planning to make a long while ago was supposed to be a followup of sorts)

I suppose it's a matter of taste whether or not the tribe was better or not. I know opinions tend to differ on that matter, and although I know I can have my part in changing that, it largely depends on the members themselves. I can't tell people to suddenly start dancing or get naked or anything, but that's simply how some of the orcses were back in the days. I suppose the charisma of people like Rehbande, Vargukha, Ghook and Oznack might've helped some as well.

I will admit, though, that there's a slightly more serious undertone in the tribe's RP these days. Not as much drunken partying and more serious business. As I said, some will like it, some won't. I know I don't have the same effect on people as Akesha or Rehbande or even Kad did.

Back to the subject of movies though, I've been thinking of creating another similar movie for a loooong time, and I know Gruulg recorded some stuff as well. Even got quite a load of Frapsed material already. Perhaps if more people turn out to be interested, we might even make something proper out of this. ;)

Given this a little thought over the past few days, and I actually think it'd be great to see another movie representing the tribe again these days. I can take care of the Frapsing and editing if need be. Anyone else agree and like to take a shot at this? Perhaps a storywriter will be welcome. o.<

Yah!

You nasties, you're forcing me to start again. I'll try it at the beginning of this week to see if I want to start playing again...

Sitting at the airport now, heading for Amsterdam...
