This is me testing the shoutbox, because shouting is a great stress relief and it would be a shame if it doesn't work.

Blood Rage

The stars and the moon were shining down on the beach, where Kargnar now were standing. They had been for hours, even before he had left Booty bay in anger. Getting punched by Kyrazha even though he somewhere deep down knew he had deserved it, had got his blood pumping, and the blood rage had taken a hold of him, and it had taken everything he had to not start killing right then and there. Now he was staring down on the bloodied sand. He had been killing pirates, naga and anything really that had proved willing to fight him, even humans and gnomes had to pay with the life of the blood rage that filled Kargnar. His twin axes hang heavy in his arms as he was breathing heavily, blood were yet again dripping from Kargnar’s armor and weapons, if any of it were his, he did not know.  He had been at it for hours, and whenever he felt tired and calm, he would go clean his armor and weapons and find a place to rest, only problem was just, the rest would not come to him, an hour tops he could relax before the blood raged filled him again, he had finally given up sleeping, hoping to exhaust his body to the extreme, as he always did.

With a low snarl he planted both axes into the bloodied soil, removed his wolf mask and let a finger run over the scar that ran across his face. It was that time that had started it all, when he had been captured and tortured for weeks, made to fight and kill only to be locked up again as an animal. He had finally snapped, during one of the many battles they had put him through, to the sound of the cheering crowd of warsong orcs, as yet another badly equipped and wounded opponent had died by his hands, the blood rage came over him. He had sent himself flying out of the pit, swinging the rusted axe they had given him at the nearest orcs, killing them quickly by surprise before moving on, none of the orcs were spared women or male did not matter, lucky for both Kargnar and them, there had been no children in the camp, probably because it was a war Camp. When the rusted axe broke, he just picked up another and went on, until most orcs had either fled or died by his hands. A low snarl came over Kargnar’s lips as he remembered it, he had told Srelok about him being captured, but had spared him the details of what had truly happened, he had made it sound as if he had only killed the barest minimum of orcs to escape, when the number, in fact were ten times that or more, having lost count half way through he would not even be able to give a proper number.

Before all that he had always been able to control his anger, he had never given in to the blood rage that would send him flying into battle with no concerns for his own life, only driving by a hunger for blood. But after he first fell to the blood rage, he had opened a door. He managed to keep it somewhat in check, few outbursts and no blood rage. But then Kogra disappeared and although he tried to not let it touch him, the fear and grieve ate him up, making the door wider and wider, and pushing him closer to the edge. The final push came when Devilstep were killed. The sorrow mixed with the anger, pushing Kargnar final into the abyss. That night that Devilstep, after all had said their words, drank their tribute and gone to bed, Kargnar where still awake, fighting to keep the anger in check. It was a losing battle, that ended up with Kargnar leaving the camp to seek out those he meant were responsible, as the blood Rage now finally had put its bloody fangs deep into him, and it would not let go. He went down killing around the beach, anything that got in his way were met with a blood cry followed by an axe falling heavily on them.

Since then it became easier and easier for the blood rage to take hold, leading him to time and time again disappear from the camp, when anger got to him, only to return later with a stupid excuse for all the new cuts he had gotten, and every time he had gotten Srelok to patch him up, without telling. Last time he had done it, were close the tournament, He had after the tournament lied to Srelok, saying it were the old wounds from the Fireland trip that had not yet fully healed, hoping his trusted friend and blood brother would believe him at his word, and knowing the many scars he already had would help hide the truth, and aye Srelok had called him stupid, told him to be more careful but yet again had he patched him up.

That was a few weeks back now, and Kargnar thought he had finally been able to shake the rage from within, until now. And now he knew he would have to come clean about everything, if he wanted to stay with the tribe. This time It had been to close had he not remembered in the last second that Kyrazha were Pregnant he would probably have killed the cub before it were even born.  That thought angered him again, he did not even know what it was that angered about him, all he knew was his blood started pumping and his gaze turned red as the blood that were smeared on him. He placed his wolf mask over his head, pulled his axes from the sand, ignoring how badly every muscle in his body screamed, because everything had turned to killing again. At least they had found a proper spot to camp this time, as there were plenty to kill that could fight back.  He let out a loud roar as he went hunting yet again for what would be the next prey to his rage.

The sun was starting to rise when he finally gave in to the exhaustion and fell over right where he was standing, a sad smile covering his lips, and tears running down behind heavy mask, getting mixed with the blood as it became visible. It was close to the entrance to booty bay, but he did not care at that time he had no care in the world. His trusted companion his frost wolf Icepaw came up to him and licked his face a little before it lay itself beside him, keeping a watch full eye. It had tried it before and were never far away when Kargnar came into a blood rage, but at the same time it were never close enough to be targeted itself.  A few times the goblins tried to get close to the collapsed warrior, but every time Icepaw had chased them away with a growl, snarl or if they still felt brave a smack with its jaws in the general direction, that seemed to scared them off, and after a while they stopped approaching, making him lie down again beside his master and friend, slowly cleaning away the blood with its tongue.
