Title: (Hunter class) I want this!

I leveled my hunter to 90 but when I reached the level cap I realized that I don't like the class at all... yeah I know...

But these ideas/wishes really dropped my jaw  :o

Let me know what you orcs thinks!

It's certainly interesting thoughts. Blizz have said both Hunters and Rogues are going to get something of a revamp next expansion, though not as big as the warlock one.
The biggest issue stated is spec identity. They all pretty much look and feel the same.
The idea he brought up for making it possible to have ice/fire arrows, or anything to make their attacks LOOK like something is interesting. Perhaps that could be used as a cooldown graphic?

Aspects is something I really feel is outdated as they are, (though I love aspect of the beast from the glyph). Either make them more like stances, or presences that it's something that varies depending on spec, make them do small things (like the shark thing he mentioned) or simply remove them.

The biggest reason (to me) that specs seem the same, isn't that the rotations are the same. It's that the character looks the same when fighting. The hunter is ALWAYS using a ranged weapon. That doesn't change per spec. Marksman and Survival will end up using the same pet, and even beastmasters may pick a non restricted pet. There's not really any different visuals on the attacks. So no matter the spec, you'll look the same.
Compare that to for example a mage, with very clear differences in look when you're fire or frost or arcane. Or warlocks, with very visual ways to see what your spec is.
Even warriors look different, either dual wielding, sword and board or using a single twohander.
It's not just about not playing the same way, it's about looking differently aswell for a spec to get an identity.

Button bloat is horrible aswell. Some classes I only need a couple of keybinds to play effeciently in PvE or PvP. On others, there's so many buttons that I need to use, so many cooldowns and situational abilities that is still needed (Rogues and Hunters are the two I think of first) that I get to the point where I need up towards, and exceeding 20 keybinds. While as on my recently levelled priest, either as shadow or holy. I feel it's just so simple to keep all my keys reachable and easy to use, and I look at all the empty space on my bar that has hotkeys and start wondering if I've forgotten spells in my spellbook, and for the fortyeleventh time look through again and realize that. Nope, got them all. I end up skipping active talents, in favor of passives just to not have another button to find a key for and another button to press.

I've spoken more in general of troubles with classes, but the problems I've brought up can easily both be applied to hunters and rogues, probably some other classes aswell. But these are the once I have the most experience with.
