This is me testing the shoutbox, because shouting is a great stress relief and it would be a shame if it doesn't work.

Makaroth's Musings

Wornag (Kronnor)

That's one handsome Eredar. I wonder where did you find him.  ;D

Azolg

Goodbye

Makaroth stared at the letter in his hands, written in neat inked handwriting. It was sealed with a red wax - the mark of the Tribe pressed into it. His single gaze flickered over to the sleeping Rhonya and Sadok that he'd crept up on. Both looked peaceful in their sleep - Rhonyas head nestled gently against the others chest, a protective arm resting across Rhonya's shoulder as if guarding her even in his sleep. A frown etched across Makaroths face; one of jealousy. It was true he'd loved and lusted for Rhonya since they met in essence, and it was also true he felt the Orc that she lay with wasn't deserving of her love. Yet he had her, and she was his and there was nothing more Makaroth could do because of that.

His thoughts wandered now to Vanara - The cub would grow up without a father. Yet there was no more honor left in Makaroth's mind, none that he could salvage within the Tribe. He simply couldn't bring himself to face Vanara after what he'd done. How he'd ravaged and lusted after Mazhga, that fateful encounter and the love they'd shared that night. There was no going back after this now; he'd never be able to look any of those he'd come to love in the eye again, not after this. Honor broken and gone, he'd withdraw silently into the night.

Ever since Ma'veth and his stint as a Fel-orc nothing had felt right, nothing in the slightest. But then perhaps being stranded on a planet does that, only he would know in time. What he did know was the Tribe was no place for him anymore. He simply couldn't cope with the atrocities he'd endured during his time there; he just wasn't strong enough.

Once more his eye cast down to the letter, reading the fateful words.

Rhonya.

Nothing has been right ever since I came back. This Tribe-life just doesn't feel right anymore. Where I once came to believe this would be the home I dreamed of, that hope was stolen from me. I have done a terrible thing; one I cannot hope to regain my honor from doing so. I could not ever look any of you in the eye again; not after what I've done. I will depart silently into the night. No fuss. I do not know if we will ever see each other again.

Goodbye.
Makaroth.

He sighed as he finished reading; it was now or never. Stooping down he tucked the letter gently inbetween their furs, so as to not wake them. A single tear rolled down his cheek, before he picked his satchel up and wandered away into the night.

Rashka

Oh dear. Mazhga really set something off here. o_o *Quietly strolls off behind him*.. Yup.

I don't think i'll ever be good enough to publish a book. But thank you for the kind words, and i'm glad you enjoyed it.
