This is me testing the shoutbox, because shouting is a great stress relief and it would be a shame if it doesn't work.

The Packweaver

The now defunct Packweaver was once a rank that stood on equal grounds with the Nag'Ogar, Gul'thauk and Gosh'kar. From blacksmiths to leatherworkers, from tailors to cooks, they were the skilled craftsmen and workers of the tribe, fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of those lacked the time or ability for these professions.

The Packweavers can best be described as the working class of the tribe. A Packweaver is basically all roles in the tribe's society that does not involve being a professional warrior, magician or shaman.

Origins:

With the coming of the Shattering, it soon became clear to Chieftain Kozgugore Feraleye that there would come an increased need of a true worker class for the orcish race. Peons alone couldn't uphold the increased demand of labour due to the rebuilding of Orgrimmar and the renewed offensive upon the Alliance, and a need for paid labourers would soon increase. As a result, the Packweavers were called into being.

Contrary to peons however, Packweavers were in fact more than just labourers. They excelled at their trade, whether it be overseers, labourers, bards, blacksmiths, tanners, heralds, messengers, cooks, quartermasters, merchants, even tavern keepers. They all had their own place and responsibility in the tribe, and even though they may not be among the revered warriors or shaman of the Horde, they were a vital part of the Horde's war machine and daily tribal life.

Tribe History:

The tribe has never had a single Packweaver. The reasons for this have been speculated upon by certain orcs, as there is certainly no lack of demand for crafts amongst the Red Blades.

It may be that the skills needed of any New Blood to complete a tutor's challenges and swear the Oath of Blood preclude them from the pacifism and mundanities of the Packweaver's existence. It may also be that the tribe has survived comfortably either outsourcing its need for crafts, or having armor, weapons and other supplies manufactured by orcs holding other ranks, such as Nag'Ogar Devilstep's blacksmithing or Gul'thauk Blastblade's inscription.

Requisite:

After having become an Oathbound, an aspiring Packweaver was to prove his skills or craftsmanship in front of the tribe on a Tribe Meeting. This would vary depending on what trade he practiced.
